Keypad is fine but quite cramp..its not easy to type message when your thumb nail is long.if you have big thumb it is also hard to type the message faster..good phone but bad keypad.but there is no other nokia phone that offer you carl zeiss lens with xenon flash (accept 6220c minuse wi-fi)..bulky phone but not too heavy..

hey guys.you are so helpful.please tell me about the keypad of nokia n82.you always help.i have posted my query so mannnnnny times.please tell me the keypad especially numeric part better than nokia n70.please dude no one replied before.just tell me about the keypad perfomance especially numeric part.its feed back and is it better than nokia n70,n72.

Hi all...
1)any chance of changing SNOOZE time or the only way is to download the snooze aplicaction?
2) is there any chance of having time and date on list of messages or again its downloading an aplication that states date and time?

yes as i said,all settings go back to AUTO.even night mode,portrate mode etc,everything. i wish it could stay on vivid,due to lack of colors,although there is not much defference anyway.

even if u put date instead of text,it still doesnt show date on pic at full screen. in the pic list though,it always shows date. the only defference is that with DATE u see 20072010... under the pic list and with text u see a name that u put for the pics. OTHERWISE... in the pic list, they always have time and dates,no matter being on TEXT or DATE. but as i said before,when looking at pics on full screen,u never see the dates no matter where u have the settings(DATE,TEXT)

well.,.,.,.,.,in camera setting .,., it will remain.as you configure it .,., but in type of taking pics (e.g night , portrait , close up mode)
well after you open the cam again it returns as a default in "AUTO"

azul78, 14 Jul 2010I also hav prob with the camera button..I cant seem 2 open ... moremy camera button was ok now. i went to a cellphone shop (well its a phone bazaar where all brand new &2nd hand fon are available thats in the philippines]and a good technicians too) he just replace one chip that connects to the camera button and now it works very well.costs $7 only.
if someone asks you for a higher price he's just taking advantage on you like my experience in other celshop, he told me that the cam button was connected to the flex of the keypad and was broke or and needs to replace it with new flex that costs $33.im so lucky enough found that shop and not charging me overpriced. hope it can help. bad english sorry.

[deleted post]I don't want to argue with you but what flaw are you refering in n95? I have used 3 n95 because i bought and sold them to get another phone but i always came back to n95. For 2 years i have been using n95 and i had only some bug problemes which were solved easily. As for the ranking you presented i don't hnow were you got it and they are accurate . The n82 can be included in a top no question about it ,but n79??? Still the undisputed nokia king is n95

I have N-82 and I am very much satisfied with its performance.
Now I am planned to change my mobile. Can any body guide me a good model better than N-82 or shall I keep my N-82.
Please advice friends.

I was thinking of buying a galaxy s but i don't want to spend 500€ for a phone and the140€ for n82 is a reasonable price. Think i'm going to get one.
