My earlier comment was that i did presentation on n82 not 6310i and did not mean to sound like the n82 is a laptop replacement but wat can be achieved with the n82 obviously i still needed a tele.The meeting lasted about 30mins but the n82 solved my needs on basic company update with minimum agro and it delivered..I did not mean to say that this is a laptop replacement but it can compete in some circumstances..cheers people

The 6310i was a global succes with its mega signal power and battery plus 1000 contacts,,i had a ivory and red casing and wish i had never sold it but this is same shape type and is a bit like 6310i in its brilliance but for 2008 instead

this is the best device on the planet and the best fone ive used in 12 years,,the last good fone is a good 5 yrs ago and still got it its nokia 6310i...I used this fone thurs to do a powerpoint presentation to my colleagues using tv output with spreadsheets,,pics and internet based info without laptop to carry and having to get internet signal.This smartphone is first class

The n81 has poor music as demonstrated in uk tv by gadget show with poor rendition of music as the layers come in it gets messy and muddled but n82 has far superior quality and can do everything n958gb can do but more in smaller device...It also has auto rotate and lens cover superb battery and ngage built in plus more ram and 3.5mm headfone jack in CORRECT place and i get it wednsday.

For me, N82 is the best phone compare to K850i and nokia N95. well its just my opinion.
As you can see, n82 is almost the same as N95 8G but the only difference is the size of the screen.
for me it doesnt affect how big the screen of your phone, as long you enjoy it.
I choose Nokia N82 because of its Xenon flash which attracts me very well. Because i really love capturing pictures especially or during we have a vacation. I also used this phone as a mp3 player. The sound is also good. The Keypad is not bad just like others said for being poor performance. Maybe they dont have this phone yet or they never tried to use this for texting. Others have not enough money to buy it, that's why they tell negative things about this phone.
I also love this phone because it not only supports WAP browsing but even WEB browsing, which is right now i dont need to open my pc to surf to the internet. Another features of this phone is WIFI Enabled. N82 also supports up to 8G MMC but right now it is not available yet in the country. Actually to inform you guys, I really loves nokia phones. right now i have 4 nokia phones, 2 of them are N series and 2 of thems are not. Nokia Phone is very friendly user especially when configuring the GPRS / MMS. Actually I am working in one of the telco cmpany here in phils, more complaints we recvd is regarding to other phone brands "ESPECIALLY IN CONFIGURING MMS/GPRS AND EVEN THE 3G NETWORK"...

nokia n82 is better than n95... N95 is older than n82... n82 is even cheaper.

this phone is.......simply.....awsum......almost all the features of n95 8gb....jus itz a bar phone and has 2 gb card included.....the camera is jus fantastic.....and rest r same.....n82 is much cheaper......total value for money.....although the speakers can be improved......

If you are using N82, please tell me that it Menu, select, back and C button presses or it is like Samsung U700 that only u have to put your thumb or finger on these buttons and the selected option opens without presing. Please Reply!!!!!!!!!

Yep N82 aint great in Music, thats where the N81 excels! N82 is an excellent Camera and Multimedia device though, its better than N95 is some points and vice versa,but at the end of the day they are basicaly the same.

Hey im a Nokia FAN, i love this phone. im using more thn 2 months and its wonderful. nokia always doing great job. anyway i need a small advice. im planning to buy another original bettery for nokia N82 and when bettery down i can use other bettery know. like that can i use? is that ok for phone? i mean is that safe for mobile. changing bettery so offen will it effect mobile.??? pls need info

its £400 in uk sim free and is about the most expensice handset except n958gb and e90

ryt now here in Philippines, it cost P19,990... much expensive if you buy it at any nokia center, it is P21k

I tried N82 and it's a great phone for everything except for music.
If you're into music you should try out N91 or Moto ROKR series.

this phone is the baddest phone alive but i had problem with is bt broke wont turn on got a new one but the screen is discolorfication on it now sending me a new one i hope this time it will be flawless i am hoping

candy ,,every internet site you see in your laptop can be seen on the n82 except for a few things
remember the n82 screen is small and you will have to do some scrolling at some point,,,
if you wish to play video embedded in a website some may not play due to being an odd codec and if you are not connected to a 3g signal live streaming will not be possible,,
the opera browser renders website to fit the small screen and often wap versions of websites are available for e.g. www.itn.co.uk can be replaced with wap.itn.co.uk.
is that what you mean
