hi everyone i need to know if upgrading firmware to version 11, does it mean you will have ALL your photos and files erased ?
this is what the nokia care service center in singapore told me.
full of crap? i cant seem to upgrade the firmware using my own computer. mine is a china made model, under singtel. anyone knows? help thanks!

To those who said the cover look like a sardine and coke can, well... It doesn't matter Everybody like to drink coke and eat sardine because it taste so good. Same as nokia N82 The most important thing is the function is good haha... l Love N82

It’s not my opinion that N82 camera is better than k850i in most cases but it has been confirmed in more than 90% reviews, even the gsmarena’s review also said so -
“Furthermore, it is the best flash to be found on the market dethroning Sony Ericsson K850. It's not even a close call; the difference hardly needs any further comment.”

Anyone know if n82 support BP-6M battery? Like one in 6233.
Coz this handset says BP-6MT.

My friend had the K850 and was saying: my phone is the best camera phone in the world till he saw the quality of my new N82, he was shocked!
He said OMG i have to change my K850 for the N82, first of all for the better overall quality picture and because the N82 have way more features like better video recording VGA 30FPS, GPS, WIFI, Symbian smartphone, BIGGER screen, better colors...and many more!

Emmm and about the camera in K850 you don't right because K850 takes better pictures than N82 and the flash is much better but K850 don't have wifi and other sweet features)))

N82 is better for me because camera in n82 takes better pictures than in n95, I don't like sliders, I don't need 8gb free space for my music I have an Ipod in my pocket and the last reason is that n95 is much bigger an uglier than n82))) N82 my choice!!!!!!

Also the P1 is touch screen but I don’t like touch screen, so it is better for me that the N82 is not a touch screen phone. This feature of P1 has no value to me. But if someone likes touch screen then the person might chose P1 over N82.
Firstly I want 5mp camera so I want to compare N82 vs. N95 vs. K850i vs. G800 vs. LG Viewty. After finding the best 5mp camera phones then I look for my second choice which is Symbian OS. In this way U can narrow down ur search.
I hope U got my point. It’s all about personal preference.

Personally, I would prefer N82. But my honest suggestion is – ask Ur self. What features U’ll use/need/want?
The P1 (afaik) has 3.15mp camera with normal flash where & N82 has 5mp camera with xenon flash which beats the k850i in many cases. Now the question is do U want to use the phone as a substitute of camera or not. If U don’t want this then this factor has lesser value to U.
U should ask urself what features do U want then find a phone which has best performance on those features. If U find more than one phone that have all the features U want then look for the other features that U would like to have as extra. Even then if U end up with more than one phone then go for the phone that U like slightly better than the rest.
In short, don’t look what features the phone has but look what features U want on a phone.

N82 or N95 8GB, it depends on personal preference. AFAIK, the main basic differences between N82 and N95 8GB are screen size and flash. If U want bigger display rather than xenon flash (better picture capturing) then buy N95 8GB or if U want better picture capturing but can sacrifice display size then N82.
So in the end it depends what U want, not what features the phone has.

this is an awesome phone has 3g wlan ; a built in gps receiver; with dis i guess nokia has taken the competition way ahead than a sony or any other phone an awesome camera just a bit too pricey as compared to the n 91

Got to see the fone today,,only dummy model tho....It is a bit bigger than i expected but thats no problem it just a a comment..
I thought with it been the n73 upgrade it would have the multimedia key and after enquiring i found it the button thats secretly unmarked is the m/media key..I enquired also if their have been any problems or faults or returns and she said we have had zero returns and thats when i got the answer that they were also out of stock..She could not give me any details on the black version yet on vodafone (i was in carfone uk)because they had no word yet on which operaters are stocking it..If it did tho it would come at full price and a reduction in the silver model was inevitable..
So later i went back and ordered the silver one sim free as its not on payg and already have a voda contract,,it will not be delivered till wednesday "Why i asked"" i forgot it was easter !!!! so its one of those waiting moments were you cannot wait to get your hands on it.
I now prefer candybar to sliders but overall i am still a clamshell fan..I am glad of my choice because moto z10 has low video record and symbian uiq,,samsung g810 may have a low battery and s/e g900 is also not good video record and uiq again so hope this fone will last till experiaX1 comes out because i fancy the challenge of windows and its a feature packed beast...Brynn
