for Steve j what are you trying to say that this great phone is much better than k850! that's a truth and this phone is just practically the same with the rest excellent N-series phone and many changes in features and performance and the camera of this phone N82 is very good and the cover is great and the cover does not look like a SARDINE can and a COKE can eventhough it's black or silver and the buttons are too good and good to press this phone N82 is superb and I don't prefer k850 than this far far better N82.

great design the cover is not like a COKE can and SARDINE can and the buttons are too good to press and excellent too, very nice buttons. and the camera is so good enough

to the guy who compared this phone to a sardine can, i can't really argue...
but remember dude, sardines taste pretty good...
and that's what this Nokia phone is for me...
and i agree that SE phones may look sheek, but when it comes to software and functionality, Nokia can blow any other phone away...
but i do find the keypad on the petite side though...

After looking at n78 this is much more powerfull in lots of areas for eg video record which is important to me,,,With it having dvb it wont come to uk so i think my choice to buy this is granted,,most likely black "but" silver version may go cheaper so may get silver...I change my fones alot anyway so the extra money saved getting silver will go to next fone..Black is out shortly so will see prices,,IF i can wait that long,,life is short and tech moves fast!!!!!!

dear sir mark..hmm arew you sure that you were using the main camera situated at the back and not on the front?
I dont have an n82 but I was able to test it at a store
and I must say

Had the N82 for about 2months now and it has been the best phone I have ever used. Last week however i went to take a picture and noticed a problem with the cam, it is no longer at 5mp more like a VGA

Dear n82 experts:
Recently my n82 seemed to have problem with showing digital clack. When I change the clack to digital view, the digits(font maybe) are smaller than it used to be. Unlike the first time I used it. I had a firmware update. I changed code to HongKong version so I can view chinese. This problem was noticed since the update. I wonder if anybody else had the same situation and have any solution to it.
There are alot of software I downloaded online for n82 but most of them give me this message "certificate outdated" when installing.
One more thing I like to share, when I use different themes than the original packed themes, sometimes the shortcut key(between right soft and C key) does not response. It works after I changed back to theme "nokia 2".

Yippee its out in black !!! I held out in hope that a new version would come out...Hope its not a 8gb version and not overpriced

i am glad its got a new suite and nokia did the correct thing not making it 8gb.I am buying this multimedia monster soon and yes its not even like the k850 this is a top of the range smartfone.

This is a great phone. Because:
1. Have lots of god features.
2. Camera is the best in the market (read some unbiased reviews, u will find 90% of the review said its better than all other phones in the market. Even gsmarena said the same thing)
3. U would get used to the buttons in less than 2 days.
4. If U don’t like the look then there is the black one available which looks awesome.
Finally if U worried about the battery life then I’ll say, this phone offers so many good things that U should not be bother even if U need to charge it every night.
I have an honest suggestion, U don’t need to believe my words, U don’t need believe those who says it’s the best phone and those who says it’s the worst phone. Before U buy this phone just read some unbiased reviews from trust worthy website like gsmarena and see the truth by Ur self.

A lot of SE phones have the same style... and you can't even install good applications like what Nokia phones have. Buy a new SE phone and it will be depreciated in a few months because another "copy-look" of that will be released. SE phones are good in terms of sound, and some camera functions... but it still can't beat Nokia phones.

Siva have you been drinking?? The N82 and SE K850 are not in the same category. It is like comparing an Aston Martin to a Ford Fiesta!! It is not just a question of the lack of GPS and WiFI on the K850. What about the lack of 3.5mm jack, smaller screen, slower processor, absence of an OS, fewer 3rd party applications, third rate camcording, inability to play a plethora of flash videos on the web. Nick mentioned most of these points earlier.
The N82 is a sophisticated multimedia device. The k850 is basically simply a cameraphone.

I feel tat K850 is a better choice in case you are not looking at Wifi n GPS.
Cos its bettr in terms of sound quality, display clarity, equal in terms of camera clarity wid N82. Surely a better phone for people who r hardly gonna use Wifi n GPS. But for the class of people who r gonna use these Wifi n GPS N82 black is damn 2 gud. Also sony s gonna come up wid C series (C902), photographers can wait 4 tis...

even you put black cover in this phone it is still the same with the silver cover that looks like a COKE can and SARDINE can
