      i've been using this phone as a replacement from my trashy n73, and it's been great. even though some programs are lacking, and the front part is a fingerprint nightmare, every other thing has been working out great for me. the speakers are weak considering my previous phone (n73), but i don't really mind because the earphones are far better, even better than apple iphone's earphones, i might add. the screen is flawless, but seeing the size of the screen in n95 8gb kinda makes me jealous. but the xenon flash is something nokia n95 8gb users can't get a taste of, and that is really something to be proud about. the photo quality is pretty nice, though i think it's too compressed to make room for memory. the speed's fine, and the flash works out fine. no accidental sliding of the camera lens cover, and thankfully the d-pad is very easy to use. typing is not a problem either, once you get used to it (it'll only takes you a day or two, i promise), the higher elevation of the numeric keys makes it easier to type with this device than with nokia n73's numeric keypad and joystick which is poorly thought of. battery life is poor compared to sony ericsson's, but acceptable. the usb cable seems to be a problem for me, since it's one of a kind, meaning you have to bring one of your own everywhere to connect your phone to the pc. worse, the gps application is kinda confusing. the auto-rotate function is pretty cool. but in conclusion, this is an astounding multimedia phone, also a great and stylish phone. mine's titanium (silver version), which i think is better than the black one cause it seems like plastic. is it really plastic?

                @relton
                I have both the G800 and the N82.
                As much as i enjoy the G800's design, optical zoom, feel, convenience, and comfort of the keypad, i would definitely choose the N82.
                For starters, i appreciate the Wi-Fi capabilities of the N82, up here in Canada, i could not connect to my company's 3G connectivity, so WLAN became the only way i could connect to the internet. I enjoy how the N82 pictures take up less room then the G800's. An average N82 picture is about 750kbs, whereas the G800's pictures are about 2.2mbs. Although the memory difference, N82's pictures are still better in many aspects. The video recording capabilities and the flash of the N82 are better then the G800's BY FAR, G800 doesn't even come close. To top it off, the N82 has a symbian device, a smartphone, lol that speaks for itself.

                  I would buy n82 over Samsung because firmware updates r quicker n Samsung not as experienced in symbian os etc etc n Samsung only copying not creating

                      I am using this phone for almost two months. I LOVE my nokia. All I need is all-time internet connection. The best phone ever (for me). Still surprising me

                        What's worse, output volume via headphones is also poor... everything below 80% volume is almost totally quiet

                        What's the problem Nokia?

                        Why the camera has been vastly improved and the music has NOT ?

                              I just got mine, and i have been exploring this gadget for a day or two now, and i have found at least two things who are not working out of the box, Internet tv, and mapping up network drives, perhaps the latter is impossible, wich is stupid, and i guess with some upgrades and some googling ill get web tv up and running. Video calling is much better than on N73 (wich Nokia gave me my money back for after 1 year of problems) well basically, everything is upped a notch from N73. For now i like this phone very much. And the price is pretty low. (300£ in Norway) And compared to any other smartphone i've tried, its FAST!!! :)

                                comparing it with my previous one - N73 ... this phone has the following addvantages:
                                very good video recording quality
                                very nice and powerful WLAN
                                but, N-73 has louder speakers , and for surprise better photo quality ....

                                I prefered N-82 over N-95 as there no sliding joints ... and the battery stands more than that of N-95

                                finally, Sound is accepted, video recording is great and WLAN so powerful ... it's a great phone

                                  Yes it has office document viewer and it has photocall. I have watched movies on the phone and had no problems. I just can not use my lap-top's internet on my phone via usb. Is this possible?

                                        IMO the black one looks cooler, but I would rather keep the side case if im gonna change my case to black, it adds more accent to the phone.. peach n'love!
