Word documents can NOT be typed with the preinstalled quickoffice program that comes with the phone. However, you can download the paid version of quickoffice which allows you to type/edit any kind of office document.

Hi. I just want to ask if anyone here has used a 4GB or 8B memory card through this phone? Does the applications, songs, pictures, and videos still loads fast? Or it the loading time is very noticeable to take a long time compared if you're just using 2GB cards? Thanks!

With that 22K Php, I already bought a N95 8Gig. Phone prices are really going down. I have N82, k850 and W960. The advantage of this phone over K850 is wifi, being a smartphone and gps (useless here in rp). But for camera performance, experience, photo details and variety of settings, K850 trumps. And music is more decent in K850. Hope nokia immediately manufactured the black variant.

N82 is the best phone I've ever had. I've used the N70, N73, N91, and none of them are as good in terms of functions and reaction time. This phone doesn't hang like the N70 does, it reads quickly and installs smoothly, and the keypad isn't giving me any problems. Plus it can execute N-gage games. Really worth the the PhP22,000 I paid for it...

I'm from Venezuela and I have a Nokia N82 from Movistar... In the N82's box it clearly says that supports UMTS 850/2100Mhz networks... Can anyone confirm that?

I love phones. And since I have K850, N82 and W960 right now, I can say that K850 is the better bet in camera performance and camera interface. N82 is just plain s60 camphone with xenon, nothing in the cam interface will make you feel a real camera. But infairness, the interface has gotten more responsive than my old n95. But for now W960 is the main phone for me. Lets try to be open in our opinions. Peace.

Well fellows don't want to interrupt you in this euphorical feeling about Nokia, but the last 2 weeks I was doing nothing else but testing, and failing at the tests with this "high" quality brand...
The last 2 weeks I was several times at Nokia Club's service, and I have seen several models with problems, one of them was the brand new N95 8gb, and mine the almost 3weeks old N82(I mean 3 weeks I have bought it from Vodafone), wich died today beetween 14 and 20 o'clock.
I was hoping until today that it has problems just because of the software, but I was wrong. It seems the 128ram and 300mhz processor was doomed from the beginning, couldn't handle all the smart stuff "he" should know, so it gave up hte fight. So they have sentit to Bucharest for further tests -after several failure of trying to reinstall and update the Os.
So it seems fellows I'll wait at least 1 more week and I hope I'll get a new one for the "ill" one I have bought...
Is it Nokia as good as it is published???
Far from it!!!Far from beeing perfect!!!
Well after having all the documents ready for sending the "dead palmtop" I went to the Nokia shop right near the service, and I tried several models. It seems neither the other N82 are faster then mine was, I don't know if they are working the same-actually not working-... But it seems from all the phones I tried only the N73 music edition seemed ok... and even that one is far from the ultimate hi-tech perfectionalism...
                            Greetings to all! Szaby

i would seldom go for plain design phone. is normally either flip-up or slide-up. But u know wad? The very first eye i laid on dis phone, GOSH!!! i'm totally in love. Neither do i find the design of the phone is ugly nor it looks like sardine tin to some others. Surprisingly, I find tt the design is absolute poise. With the great camera feature (5MP), it comes with a big screen in order to view the shots perfectly & comfortably. i think tt's y the length is kinda stretchy. But i adore the way they design the keypads. Thou' it looks like they're clump together, but due to this design, when u r sms'ing with busy hands, the design become perfectly handy for you to grasp it.
