ahmm., when im taking picture., far or sunlight dullness., well im using nightmode., to make the dull dark.,.,., light up.,,..,
3g --> 3rd generation.,.,
well its kind of a data transfering to a server connection ,or quick data access with an area that has a 3G .,
--> use for fast and quick data transfer.., like
MESSAGING (faster youll recieve text,Send txt) ,
WIFI (more faster but some area.,uses the 3.5G (EDGE))
Voice CALL / Video call(for fast and long communication)
WEB ACCESS (quick access and fast browsing.,)
i suggest that turn off your 3g when not in use.,.,it consume a lot on your battery. .,
i suggest you use it in the FF (following)
1)Video call ,
2)browsing (optional , -If you have fast browser like google chrome installed in your phone
3) when your using NOKIA maps

It appears because your phone has picked up a 3g signal. It's only an indication that you are in a place where there is a 3g signal. If you are not using it in video calls, as a telephone using 3g services and other wireless data transfer services then you are not going to pay for it.

ok in what way is the camera better since u have to put night mode in the day time?
plus,does ur new software remember the changes u make in cam settings?cause its too much fuss to change settings every time ull take a pic.
what do FF changes mean?
do u also have that 3G sighn where ur fone signal is?is money being paid at that point? thanks again mate

umm.,.,., as i expirience.,
may last version is V31 .,., and i update the software.,.,to --> v 35.0.002
the changes made are the FF. that i notice
1, better camera result.,
2,Gallery start up more faster
3, mobile performance.,also become faster
4,enhanced battery life
5,faster data transfer,,.,by using the 3G , HSPDA , EDGE and packet data
well thats all., im looking forwward to update my phone., if theres an availble one.,. .,.

well you can try the NIGHT mode.,.,., if in day light i taking pixs .,., im using the night mode., to enhance the brightness and contrast.., and a good camera result.,.,.,.,,.,.,

I changed my silver to a black one just today only i noticed that my IMEI sticker is on the previous housing.So what did you do when you replace your housing?
Please let me know what i can do to get that IMEI sticker to my new housing......In this phone the IMEI sticker comes on the housing not on the main board itself.

Nokia N82 is d best fone Ive ever had. Id rather use my N82 camera than my sony camera.

tenma, 07 Jul 2010@ * Sports hey you said., you just have your phone ... moreyeh,red focus light, lights up always. why do u ask? as for cam settings,i think its simply the way the fone takes pics.each fone has its own quality.my other fone is i8510 with top class pics.the reason i got this 1 is cause i got fed up of its blue flash and i wanted xenon.this n82 fone is obviously better for night pics cause of its flash.but in day time,it makes things look dark and dull.

It has a larger screen display of 2.8 inches than n82 of 2.4 inches but n82 has a powerful xenon flash. My n95 8gb is fast on internet using wifi. It also has a good video recording capabilities. Of all old nokia phones only n95 8gb and n82 i admired. N95 8 gb was said to be the king of all nokia phones while n82 was the best 5 megapixel camera phone. Remember the dual arm 11 332 Mhz processor and the 3d graphics hw accelerator.

the rescent software update is V35.0.002
if your n82 has a software version below...,.,.,., update your software. by your self, or you can update it on the nearest technician.,.,.,.., if you want a safe and good quality update., on your software., + tips from the prof. go to the NOKIA Care.,.,.,,.
if the problem is in your camera settings use the default
Go to camera.,>> setting >> Restore default>>YES!.
then puff your phone is now restored in default.,.,
