            To all my Kababayan out here, I want to ask some question of how to operate the light sensor because it's not working. Unlike my N73ME which will work automatically. Can you help me with this little problem. Thanks a lot!

                      @jess

                      your absolutely right! its like nokia rush this model to be out in the market or they run out of ideas about the design.

                        N82 design is like just a prototype phone, unlike n95 8 gb is very pleasant to look,design also matters.

                                This is my assessment for the N82
                                On a scale of 1-10 with regards to features definitly a 9 compared to what other phones is available in the market. The N82 has almost all the best features available on todays smartphones. I based this from the specs listed for this phone.

                                Now based on looks and feel. After i had actually seen and held the phone in a store in my area. I was disappointed with the metal look but plastic when you look closer looks. When i held the n82 it was like holding a plastic toy phone for kids. So for this category its a 3.

                                For actual usage and operation its smilar to using the n72 the S60 symbian software has not changed much, though it seems to responds abit faster than the n72 of coures thats without data loaded on the phone yet. I will rate this a 7.

                                Overall rating for me will be a 7. If you can get past the looks and feel The N82 with great features is a good phone for you.

                                  Hmm, that was quick. Thanks very much, ccl!

                                  I should have mentioned that I don't have that same problem with my N80.

                                  It also scares me though, as I don't want to damage and waste the memory card just because of that(and most especially if I were to get either a 4gb or 8gb one)!

                                      I recently bought the N82, and I have been moving mp3's to the phone thru USB (Data Transfer). The only problem I have is that I don't know how to end the connection, and the manual doesn't say anything about it. When I right-click and choose "Eject" on the drive where the phone is, the phone displays the "Data may be lost..." warning. But I still end up with the files stored in the memory card, though.

                                      I have a card reader, but I don't want to remove the microSD card everytime I want to put stuff in and take stuff out.

                                      Don't want to install the pc suite on my computer, also.

                                      Help will be greatly appreciated.

                                        What area does the W960 beat the N82 in? Music What else? It's 3.2MP w/ led flash can't do it. Video recording is weaker. Can't expand memory. Uses the slower 802.11 'b' only for Wifi that my 3yo PSP has. No GPS. It's uglier in person n more expensive w/ less features. It's P1 disguised as a Walkman phone. I wanted to like W960 as much as the Viewty, but neither measure to the N82 other than a couple areas.
