@good KArma
>wazzup bro?!!
>guyzz...here's a link u can all visit to download (FREEE!!!)mobile gamez u can all enjoy with ur units...all are in JAVA format so no prob for n82.
>http://www.box.net/shared/ffc432ss8f#1:6479254
>just copy+paste the link on your browser's address bar,click go and presto...all gotta do is donwload whichever u want and have it installed on your phone..either by using NOkia's PC Suite, or copy+paste it direct to your mem card and just install it using the phone's app installer, just make sure to save it on your mem card to avoid overloading your phone's internal mem.
enjoy downloading...got a tonload of gamez on both my k850i and n82, FREE! hehehe
>btw, with your Q on call history, u just gotta press the green call button at the leftmost part of the keypad area, you got your call history, choose where to go, missed,recieved,dialed out.
>if u wanna send ur all ur contacts at one time via bluetooth or however, just go to your contacts page, go to options, mark all,send via BT...
@angelo, i kinda like the idea of having a metal casing like that of n6500s, u think??
just a little worried that it might ad up to its weight though, not a bad idea at all.
@stussy
n82's cam is the best i've seen so far in all camphones currently in the market, im gonna give it an 9 with both my digital cam considering it's still a mobile unit. handy,u can actually do away with your digital camz with this baby.
@ky
i dunno if there's a freeware out there that would let you edit office docs, however, for a fee, nokia centers could actually upgrade your mobile office app to a proprietary edition that could actually edit office docs, even create ur own powerpoint presentation, neat huh!?!
@Ndorojatun
battery depends on ur usage bro. i actually bought a fat 2800mah batt for my dopod900 just to enjoy it for 2 whole days without charging. well, with n82, battery is decent, might give one whole 24 hour period with average to heavy usage. an hour of wifi, 3 hours of mp3, an hour of video playback, about 50 pix, 15minutes of video recording, 20 mins of call, 50 text messages, 30 mins of gameplay.having done this, you'd still have about 2-3 bars at night, time to recharge. not bad,ei???
@rest of u guyz still thinkin of what unit to buy >
>go get ur n82 if u wanna be amazed
>go get an n95 8gb if wanna stuck up some massive doze of entertainment with a huge cool display
>go get k850i if u wanna be frustrated...
ho humm...anywayz, im just being loud about my opinion, but be assured that i know of where i speak, i got both units.

@ben
There is a store (i forgot the name) at SM Cebu currently having a Sinulog Sale, it's the cellphone shop near cinema area. They're selling N82 for Php21K only. Go grab it man before they'll run out of stock.
By the way, i want to remind you of posting rule #3, English only.
Good Luck Ben! Pit Señor.

For phone book I just save to the memory card. Then save the Contacts folder to my computer. Every so often if I added many contacts to my phone, just back it up again.
If I ever need to restore my phone book (because of hard reset), just copy the Contacts back to memory card and restore it. Takes 2 seconds and very easy. End up with perfect phone book again.
No need to mess around with outlook. It's a shame there isn't a solution for true syncing. The s60 phone book is too advanced and has too many options for outlook so nothing will sync properly.

Good Karma, not sure about 1) or 3), but as for 2), your missed/received/dialled calls are stored under the submenu "Logs". In order to access it more quickly/easily, how about pressing the dial key - then you can immediately scroll left-right to view calls other than dialled ones. Or, you could probably configure a short key to view all the above at once.

Thanks again, Father Vince! For the invitation, too - it is a real feast for the eyes and, truly said, creatively inspiring to join. Chapeau! I am yet to learn this stuff, though so it may take a while. BTW, I haven't actually tried the video function yet. I have heard only praises sung about the still camera, really - but video recording hasn't been all that equivocally lauded/reviewed.

Hi Friends,
I am finally back and you guess what- I have finally purchased a N82.
It is really wonderful phone in all features. I have upgraded my SEK750i to N82. I was highly stisfied with the same.
But this out performs K750i in all parameters except for some small fetures,
1)SE has a feature of forwarding all the contacts of phone and sim to pc/ laptop/ another phone through bluetooth at one go. whereas in nokia- you can forward/ recieve only one contact at a time thru bluetooth. For all contacts- you have only one option of sync with oulook/ outlook express address book. Which actually spoils ur address book at both ends.- Does anyone has any solutrion for this?
2) In N82-It is difficult to reach missed call/ dialled nos, recd. calls- In SE u just press a button- it give all calls-recd.,called or missed in sequence of time.
- Can any one suggest any alternative?
3)What all applications/ softwares etc. can be uploaded through net on computer- through free downloads- and their respective features.
I am sure father, shanky..... will help me out in all these querries....

Just got the phone
I had a e61i before this
I do miss my qwerty keybaord, but I must say the n82 is a good phone.
Pros:
Good screen
Best camera ever ( flash is really strong, auto focus is good and shoots well night time)
Really fast. you can see the dif with so much ram
Doesn't crash
Nice features
Nice rotating feature of the screen
nice stereo speakers
Free 2gb
Nice multimedia function
Cons:
Rotation screen doesn't work that well ( see some videos on youtube, you'll understand)
the direction pad makes some cheap noise
Would of prefared if the casing was in metal not in plastic
gps is not great, takes some time for the satelatie to detect you
would of prefered a brigther screen
This is a good phone. It's my first candy bar phone and I like it. Keypad is nice, juste have to get use to it ( i did have a qwerty on my last phone)
The voice is clean and the speaker is of good quality. Reception is always the best ( nokia !!)
I don't use the phone for music ( use my iPod), so can't say anything there)
I have had 4 phones in the past year ( samsung e900, rokr e6, nokia e61 and nokia n82)
I have to tell you, no one offers better phones then nokia. I hate UI of SE, so never bougth any ( but I did play around with p1 and it sucks)
If you want to have the best performance in a phone and plan on using it buy it
If you want to replace your normal point and shoot camera, this phone has lots to offer
I won't say it's an eye catching phone ( except for maybe the silver look), but still it's a really good phone.

Thank you, fatherVince! I'll get in touch with the seller. Phone otherwise excellent (though the d-pad could be more solid). I even prefer these small buttons, I think it's easier to txt as there is adequate distance between keys. Mine is from HK, still got the Chinese characters on it. Plus even a Chinese dictionary installed that appears good. If only I'd speak Chinese... :)

@harybo
Both of the speakers of my unit sounds identical, right and left speakers produced the same sound output. If you're upper speaker is weak then it might be defective.
@mister philippines
Kabayan! i'm glad u finally have a silver snapper to play with. Still i'm lucky to purchased it for only Php19,290.00 last December 24, 2007 with 1 year full (brightpoint) warranty also here in Cebu.
I wanna comment on your opinion on what you've noticed on your N82's display. Yes N73 is brighter but try to take a deeper look at the pic, N82's display is crisp and sharp. Your objects color is identical to your display unlike N73. Now transfer the pics taken by both units on your pc and compare. Finally you can say that N82 is the imaging king.
