n82 can take on any phone any day, and any light condition..any subject -close or moving, anywhere u got WIFI,3G network, for streaming your fave radio song...you'll never get lost...say u got ur own GPS device here. plus u'll never get bored. doesn't leave my bag of goodies, anywhere i go, this baby never cease to amaze me...

As posted before, the black N82 is more sexy ! God I wish thisto be true.. Unlike the other rumored look of the black edition this one looks more appropriate..

Funny, but probably true...some people have actually been looking forward to an N82 with larger storage capacity, or choosing the N95 8GB for better media storage features. But as one can read on various websites, high-capacity SDHC cards are coming out at a stunning speed. Add the fact that it has been widely claimed that the N82 would actually work in it's present form with an 8GB card, and potentially upwards to further SDHC (12GB, 16GB) ones in the future.

Which one is better N82 or P1?

I know that each of these phones has some unique features. For example N82 has a 5 m.p. cam, and P1 has touchscreen. But the most important thing to me is Stability. Which one is more stable and fast? Another important factor is ability to opening and reading documents (Word & PDF) which one of these two phones is efficient at it?

And the last thing is the matter of battery. I know P1 has a better one. But does it really matter? And is it really a nuisance to have a 1050 mAh on N82, does it need to be recharged more often (because I used to read books on my phone, and I'm afraid that inadequate battery would make some trouble for me)

Oh, one more thing. I know N82 is more expensive but it doesn’t matter to me!

              Please help me very soon

              Thanks

Dont listen to the kids who judge pix thru da net n call it butt ugly cuz they worship iphone. N82 wont win every beauty contest, but its got brains n a real diamond in the rough. For me, function > fashion any day. More practical n better longevity. N82 will gain a cult following cuz it is dat great but severely underrated! Had my phone for a week n da honeymoon isnt over yet! Added more apps n no lags yet. I charge it every night cuz it is hard for me to put it down.

Ive just recently got the new N82 and its going back again on Tuesday. Not impressed with it at all. theres a lot more features on the N82 but my previous phone, Nokia 6300 if far better.

                      The pro's
                      Nice big screen
When you turn the screen 90* anti-clockwise the display turns as well.
                      Fairly good battery life.
                      Good camera.

                      The cons
Looks good on net, very plastic in reality.
Not easy to navigate round menu.
When you upload MP3's on to it, can never find them.
Slow to open txt msgs. When you recieve a txt msg the senders name appears surname first then first name.
Last thing to watch out for, sat nav - altho its part of the software you pay for it when using it. So when you first take the phone out of the box (like a new toy lol) and you think ill try the sat nav, as soon as you hook up to nokia maps and its looking for the GPRS satellites, your paying for it!!!

                        Forget one thing.

When you want to restore your phone book after a hard reset or something. Just the "Contacts" folder that you saved to your computer and put them on the memory card. Goes in the folder "Other". Then go to your contacts and choose copy from memory card. And then your phone book will be restored to perfect again.

The black n82 is old news. There hasn't been real black n82 seen yet. Those are all concept images of what the black n82 might look like. There is a white version that has been seen, but only the back has been changed for the color. The front is still chrome. They will probably do it like the n95 colors, only the back will be changed. We'll have to wait and see, but based off the 2 colors out now, that's how it seems it will be.

For the contacts to the memory card (yes, I mean sd slot). Just go to your contacts, options, mark them all, copy, to memory card. Then you will have a folder on your sd card called "Contacts". Just copy that whole folder onto your computer somewhere safe.

Copying to the sim card is garbage too. Only one number per name. I like to keep my phone book really detailed and all the contacts information under one contact. Some people like to make many contact entries for the same person like...

                          John's cell
                          John's work cell
                          John's work
                          John's other cell

If you do it this way, syncing up with outlook will work fine. I like to make a contact named "John" and all of his numbers in there. I'm sure you know, but outlook probably won't work too well for this because it doesn't have as many details. So it's a pain entering your phone book the first time. But after you finally get it in and set up the way you want, just back it up to the memory card and never have to worry again.

                          Hope that helps others.

                            @syed

the following N82 features that consumes more battery: Wifi, Bluetooth, Xenon Flash and UMTS Network. If you're not using wifi and bluetooth then set them off. If you won't access a 3G network then set your network mode to GSM, not UMTS or DUAL mode.
