Two tone blk&slvr on cards n feb new survival tactics first simple then ME then SE then 8GB then new model.its screen size speaker output and face all Lack behind N95.
Why not stick with newest update on N95 N-Gage same firmware on N82 still 13 points behind

Why did Nokia copy Ericson's design? You should give this unit a lower rating for design due to the lack of originality.

Why wait for the 8gb version when you can get multiple 8gb cards? Another benefit to using an 8gb card as opposed to built in memory is that if you drop/break/smash/kill your phone, you can always pop out the memory card and at least have those files saved. With built in memory, you might be out of luck. If you like taking pictures during the day AND night, go for the N82. If pics are not THAT important to you, definitely for the n95 (either normal or 8gb) hope that helps

can anyone give me their opinion on optical zoom? i mean is it really necessary in a camera? i am not a professional or even amateur photographer but do want a good camera in my phone just for normal everyday pics (and to print them out). i dont want to carry a mobile and a camera in my pocket all the while, that is why the phone camera has to be good enough to replace the compact camera. i would be most appreciative if someone could clear this up. thank you

N82 better than the Nokia N95 8GB? My dear friend, it has just the same specifications as the N95 8GB. The only different thing is that it's got a xenon flash. But has the N82, 8GB and a huge 2,8" display? I don't think it. Besides the design of the N82 is sow ugly and the keys well...there are just made for baby's. I know the N82 is a very good phone but better than the N95 8GB? I don't think sow.
THE KING: NOKIA N95 8GB !!!

With the first impression of knowing the product, its a smartphone from engineering viewpoint. The nokia N series R&D team make a good job after several years hit by samsung when they launch the first colour around several years ago. It's come with 16-bit QVGA 2.4" TFT LCD. I like the phone where it's come with 5MP 20x Carl Zeiss lens Xenon flash. You can view the photo through tv via cable and print or save to pc via mini usb cable. Anyway, there are room for improvement for the product if the phone have place to insert a micro disk drive like N81.

hey people n 82 its a new world!!!!
i have never seen a thing like that, thats a real world but there is missed an internal memory space.

pls some one told me if the video are nice taking ??? how's at night in the interial ??? also gps ??? color ??? I like the n82 have the ideal of gps system, 5mp camera, and can store up to 32 gb ??? why all new nokia using differet shape of charges ????

Ive been browsing this site from time to time and hear different opinions. here's what i got to say. i own a nokia n82 and a n73. this n82 is not that eye catching un like other phones you see in the market, ive read in one post comments here it looks like a can well its true but to tell you the truth its ok im not after its looks anyway. some people say dull screen.well i respect your opion. some people compare it to the n95. i think in terms of application n82 is almost at par with the n95. i bet my you in terms of durability the n82 would last more longer than the n95. i hate slider phones here's one reason. from time the spring or whatever hold the phone from sliding will eventualy wearout. while you're making a call your phone accidentally slide down and cuts you off you wouldnt like that would you and second while txting messages doesnt it bug you the damn thing keeps sliding down.i quite using slider they suck! id rather go for a bar phone. i only hate what nokia did with its keypads thats the only thing that messed this phone up. all functions i have no more commment. the n82 is quite alright.

Nope. This fone really looks very2 ugly. N95 8gig is more manly with its mucho black color. This mobile is for people who dont know their sexes because its size and build is for male and the keys and color for a female. Better wait for the black edition within 2 mos or less.

Dear Junkyshunky/ father and all tech savy N82 users,
I need assistance to know about following,
FIRST AND FOREMOST DOES THIS PHONE HANGS DURING CHANGE OF APPLICATION- i.e.TAKING A CALL WHILE VIEWING PICTURES.......
1)usb charging: whether it is there, if not what is the substitute.
2)Battery Life: Compared to SE 750i
3)Compatibility of checking mails, word documents, xl sheets.
4)Whether additional sofwares are needed for normal functions like- voice recording,
5)what all additional softwares are commonly availabe and what all functions they perform
6) why does'nt Nokia provides demo on working phone in nokia priority centres in INDIA. They just have DUMMIES...

This is most complete phone in the market. The design is not problem. Buy this phone for its features, the slide phones are for young guys and ladies.
The 5mp camera performance? Amazing, flawless and simply great....!!!
