i think i'm gonna keep my N73 for a while, i'm not saying that N82 is not a worthy upgrade. i'll just have to wait for the next round with all the specs of N82 in a more agreeable design of the phone

    I am looking to buy this phone. Has anyone ever used www.hi-mobile.net or www.puremobile.ca ? The prices are excellent but I wonder about how legitimate these stores are. Any opinions or old customers from these stores?

        The keys are not good,and they sit to low on the phone!??

        There is a big gap between the display and the Keys so why are Nokia using this small uncomfortable keys?

        N82 coming in another color? Black please!

            i'm just here to give some opinions for those that still wondering between N95 and N82. actually, the differences between N95 and N82 are the xenon flash and auto-rotation in N82. but auto-rotation is currently available for N95 too. otherwise they are roughly the same. undoubtedly however, this phone is really very wonderful and strong.

                  Just received mine. Well, as expected, the phone does not really look expensive. Yes, for me I personally like that because I don't want to show off. The back design looks like a digital camera, impressive, however. Back battery cover seems to be like of cheap plastic, but it's ok form me.

                  This phone is packed full of features as N95, plus a xenon flash.

                  In the picture look quite small, but in hand feel quite big, but not very big depends on personal opinion. With that size, plus this phone is not a heavy phone thus feel like hollow inside, unlike N80 which feel solid. The keypad are very tiny, probably Nokia did this to compensate the big screen. Side keys are better than N95 coz it is neat and less likely to press buttons unintentionally

                  Good point: Full of great Features smartphone

                  Bad point: Look like made of cheap material

                      Hi people, did anyone owns a Nokia N73 and a Nokia N82? I wanted to know which battery last longer. Anyone can recommend me which phone to buy?(N73 or N82) In terms of battery life, software issues, heating issues, and also stereo speakers(loud, clear?). Thanks.

                        Following are my observations,

                        I am currently into a tumbling task of purchasing an expensive phone-

                        I have gone thru below response and want clarifications of questions below,

                        LG Viewity: most impressive in looks and being the only phone with touch screen- gives a lot of temptation.

                        But what is missing is-
                        1)LGs capability of handling music, photos...- whether it will hang.
                        2)No xenon flash
                        3)very bad battery life.

                        N82: Great features- has capability to handly office(mail/ document reader) with pleasures(music, pics..)

                        Negatives:
                        1)Less Battery life for official talkers
                        2)Design not impressive- looks like an ordinary phone in hand- does not look like an expensive device
                        3)no usb charging: always need to have charger in laptop(otherwise in all other phones only datacable suffices)
                        4)Hanging issue- application hangs in most n series phones.

                        SE K850i:
                        Positives:
                        1)great battery life
                        2)ok pictures- cyber shot(pls cofirm whether image stabilizer is there), music player
                        3)stable os

                        negatives:
                        1)ordinary looks
                        2)no mails chking software/ no docu reader
                        3)no tv out
                        4)

                          I just received mines today and was suprised by the light weight. I am charging it right now. Not a bad looking phone. It grows on you. But I bought it for what it can do, not just looks with very little else. To all N82 owners, I hope I enjoy it just as much as you guys! Xenon flash is perfect for nightclub pix. That's all Nokia needed to add to battle SE in the cameraphone wars.

                            n82 and the n95 8gb shares the same spex, almost ..except for the xenon flash...and that has made all the difference!

                            WTF are talkin' about dude?!

                            @P@1W
                            unless SE takes Nokia to court there's no saying somebody copied something from someone.besides, come to think of it...all mobile phones evolved from one great mind and spewed all varieties of units we have today...kinda reminds me of the theory of Evolution...Darwin sure knows his craft..
                            and kiddo, i got a k850i and an n82, no competition - tell ur mamma to buy u an n82 instead.LMAO
                            @Manny
                            AGC is right, heck, this baby can handle whatever gb you got in your pocket...no worries... i doubt u got that many files/music/video up on ur sleeves to fit an 8gb SDHC card...

                            i never thought u can easily say something about a guy's sex orientation just by asking for his phone model??!!LMAO real hard!!!hahahaha!!! i bet you got a PINK k850i!hihihihi!!!!
                            @Ramn Pena

                            @flexietee
                            they both got a 16m color display capability.although n95 gb has got a bigger screen.
                            @blue-tech
                            his probably referring to the flex cable...its the film like thin cable housing the delicate thin wires connecting the slides...
                            @m@}x
                            i miss your sorry a55 posts here ma man...what? got tired of lyin' to urself that you got both n82 and k850i?? for all we know all you got is your dial-up connection u use to pesk around decent postarea like here...

                            walk the walk before you even think of talkin' the talk!
                            @optical vs digital zoom
                            optical zoom is hardware relative. if your cam supports optical zoom, it has got to have a fullware optics and processing capability to produce quality pix, even if its only 3x. Digital zoom is scam, it makes you believe that you're getting a telescopic effect with ur subject when in fact ur using vital pixel info and your pic quality suffers. better go for optical zoom if u got the choice.

                                  I was impressed how nokia made a bulky but lightweight phone. I wanted to have the N95 8gb last Christmas but after receiving negative reviews about the N95 phone from my friends, I turned my back to it.

                                  My partner and I has a friend who has the n82. We checked it out for the its features and both of us were impressed with its features. He is planning to get the phone ASAP.

                                  We were impressed with the zenon flash made available on phone. The picture quality is crystal clear almost perfect compared to several phones on the N series.

                                  The keypad are small but are sensitive enough for both big and small finger. I don’t like the design but the features really makes it hot.

                                  Go and get one.

                                    Just purchased the n82 last week,i have had n95 and then n95 8gb , battery on the n95 8gb was about 4 to 5 days on gsm and is about 3 to 4 days on n82.
                                    The only reason i changed from n95 8gb was because having no lens cover it had started to scratch,hence why i went for the n82 with the cover.
                                    The only thing that bothered me was the battery life,but thats no probs with about 3 to 4 days with average usage,camera and flash brill,so all in all 10/10 for me.

                                    All in all 10/10 well done nokia

Can someone please tell me the difference between the n82's camera and the n95? is it only the flash that makes the n82 better?? i just got an n95 8gb for christmas but my friends say the n82 is much better.. well this is not a comment for me I'm here wonderingwhich phone is the ideal phone for the purpose of a, PDA, Digital Camera,and for music purpose? is it the N95 or the N82? which is better in performance and features?
