    this phone is really nice!
    but it will take more than 6 month to
    get it available to the people of Qatar.
    Qatari's are fond of new mobile.most of them like Nokia,so i think this mobile will get market after Nokia N73

        >im from Manila,hoppin around some callcenter laden city down south...i saw here you're from Cebu City,curse u for gettin ur unit at an abusrdly low price of 19k??!!!hahaha...lmao...great find for u kabayan!!!
        @m@}x
        >so where's the comparative photo, i checked the sight and all it got was just pix taken apparently by ur k850i.nice pix in fairness.
        and let me quote GSMArena on this at their N82 review - "You can also have a look at the camera review of the original N95 and the shootout with the Sony Ericsson ultimate cameraphone - the K850. The camera module of Nokia N82 is performing exactly the same way as the N95 one, but it's faster and it's backed up by a xenon flash. So if we were to put the N82 and the K850 head-to-head, Nokia would have scored way better than Sony Ericsson" - and that came from the "experts' mouth" - i rest ma case.-nufff said

        >D pad! ok??!! its called a D pad !!! D! D! D! and know what the secret to successfully using the(!!) D pad is ??!! its knowing first hand where u wanna go and what u wanna do...then that's the time u'd surely be pressing the correct buttons each and everytime...
        @Dani
        >housing is made from silver-tainted plastic mat'l...nokia could've gone with the stainless steel make like that of n6500s...but that would definitely make the weight unbearable...almost...
        @v0Xg
        >a different color for the n82..hmmm.that sounds interesting...black or faded copper would be fine by me....
        @rest of u who likes comparing n82 vs k850i cam...(hahaha-crucify 'em),not guilty here -hehehe...who?
        >both cams are using CMOS active pixel sensors,has the same max pixel count of 2592 x 1944,though pixel count quoted by manufacturers can be misleading as it may not be the number of full-colour pixels after all,images will have different numbers of RGB pixels, now this is a dead end for us all since neither nokia nor sony has revealed this tiny info yet.
        >resolution is the number of quantitative details captured by the cam,as seen through interpolation,image resizing,print quality etc... both units boast the same pixel rating and quality output...dead end again...
        >dynamic range for both cams are also unknown,dead end again...unless anybody could say HDR are part of both units, which i doubt
        >ISO manipulation is also possible for both units...hohumm...hurray to over exposure...
        >nuff said...unless we take out each pix captured by both units, get them printed in a pro lab, or shown in High Definition display screen - (much like n82's 16mpixel as compared to k850i's 256k, hehehe), then that's the time we get a better idea of which kicks which buttt.
        >calling on pros around the globe, why dont u post ur experienced opinions here so we spoiled bratts would know.
        @ all
        n82 is simply way beyond k850i could ever be...unless sony ericsson takes off the cover of one n82 and cramped it to fit a k85oi housing, and call it k850i/n82...hahaha..not funny...

                  i agree with you! There's no comparison to make between the all-in-one N82 and the simple crappy K850!

                    I find myself so confused by the continuing and constant comparisons made between the N82 and the k850i. As I had mentioned, I bought both on the same day (the k850 for my sister, and the N82 for myself). I have used both EXTENSIVELY, which is why I do not understand how anyone can compare them.

                    The k850 is a great phone, and looks quite nice (although really seems to target a much younger demographic by its looks/functions), and really takes some pretty nice 'point and shoot' quality pictures.

                    But honestly, after using both for about a month, there IS no comparison to be made. The N82 is simply so much more phone than the k850. Any of you who own either the N82, or really any other N-series phone (esp. the N95-3 or N95 8GB) know that they are some of the most full-featured, wonderfully designed, best working mobiles on the market.

                    I'm sorry but when I use the k850, I keep asking myself, "Is this ALL you can do?" Like I said, its a GREAT looking mobile, and has some pretty cool features, but they are very gimmicky for the most part, and the phone just deserves no direct comparison to the N-Series, and certainly not the N82.

                    With all this said, I am a big Sony fan, not just of SE mobiles, but of all Sony products. But recently, Sony's sales have been falling in many sectors, and there is a good reason: they are simply charging too much for product which have already been surpassed by others.

                    For Sony, and Sony-Ericsson's sake, I hope they do better next time. But for now, keep the comparisons out of this N82 page, because there truly is no comparison to make.

                          If u post your opinions dont condemn the phone if u have not actually tried using the phone.

                          And to those posting the photos for comparison, only compare at its ORIGINAL CAPTURED size. Resizing the photos to smaller size will eliminate jpeg artifacts and makes it look sharper and clearer. Thus the comparing done by those sony erricson lovers are not accurate.

                                I hope those Nokia haters will stop posting messages from now on, so we can move on and have better discussions on the actual performance of this amazing phone.

                                  your file is gonna be saved using the NAND mem which is 256mb, the other 128mb is being used by the unit as its paging file RAM mem.

                                      I do agree with you when you say it's as good as a digi cam when it comes to bright day light photos. My only complain is about LOW LIGHT photos. Could you please email me some of the shots you've taken on low light (preferably group photos) for comparison. Thanks again....
