Ha! Nokia released the phone later than the k850. of course it will dominate the earlier phones. Cocky nokia lovers..
If you'd ask me, the n95 8gb looks better, it just doesn't have xenon flash in it

As for the rest, who are considering Nokia N82, we say it's a buy you will hardly ever regret. Looking at your options first won't hurt though. The simple math tells that Nokia N82 with an 8GB microSD memory card costs about the same as Nokia N95 8GB, so the choice between the two is purely a matter of priorities. Whether you prefer larger screen or xenon flash should tilt the scales this way or the other.
As for the cameraphone lovers, the decision is as simple as that - if you want the best camera on a phone and you're willing to pay for it, Nokia N82 is the way to go.

The battery is good enough to power the handset for about three days of moderate usage. That's very good! SE fans were wrong again!

im quite disapointed with N832 pic quality.
i thought it should be better then N95.... the JPEG compression isn’t that good.

Nokia, please release a touch screen phone soon. I always find you as the #1 phone company and I do want you to beat Apple, only in terms of the touchscreen. Otherwise, the n95 and the n82 really leave the crappy iPhone in the dust.
By the way, I had an iPhone from Cingular. I threw it out although it was working. I purchased a Nokia n95 instead! Yeah!

This is such a nice phone i think best NSeries phone though so less rating. I think sony fanboys r rating it lower.
Battery life is good. Camera is way better than k850. It has got many2 function. Sony fanboys this is truth accept and don't rate it down.

WARNING: www.exoticphones.com is a scam.
Where ever you buy any phone, do not buy it from www.exoticphone.com . These guys are a scam. i bought a phone from them one time, and they said that it was in stock ony to send me a completely different phone in order to buy time to get the phone that i wanted in stock. So i called them and told them that they sent me the wrong phone. They said to send the phone back on my dime, and they will send me the phone that i ordered once they recevie the phone. No apology whatsoever. So i told that i wanted my refund back. I did not receive my refund of $480 until six (6) months later and that was i had to go thru american express. Of course exoticphone folks told american express that they never received the item from me. Okay, so i faxed amx the ups delivery notice to prove that exoticphone merchant signed for the receiving item. AMX made me wait an additional 4 weeks on top of 6 months in order to let exoticphone folks make their reply, and they never replied to amx so amx did a charge back to their company.
SAVE yourself grief and buy any phone elesewhere. OR if you want to buy from them, then remember to keep all the paper work at least 6 months just in case they try to scam you.

I am facing prob.display light senser i set it on max.but display look dull white & not flashing not go brighter in night.as compare other nokia phs. Like n81 ,n95 .can any user give me ansewer .how to solve this prob.mp3 sound is avereage playing vai l.speaker.thanks.

The people who are giving this phone poor ratings are jealous/disappointed SE fanboys or people who can't afford to buy one. When you visit GSMArena, do not look at the ratings. Read the reviews, users' opinions, and take a look at the full specs of the phone. This is absolutely beyond a doubt the best of the best available in the market (that is, if you are after the multimedia features on a phone).
It cannot be compared to HTC TyTN II, since that phone was made strictly for BUSINESS.
And like I said previously, do not judge the phone by its ratings. These people in these forums are fools.

I own a N82 and N81 8gb, both are cool. I previously owned a SE P1i and N95 and they were fine. The one that says what the best phone is, is the person who has the phone, N82 isn't the best of all to everyone, but for now, it's the best for me. Battery life ain't poor, some people just overuse the phone's functions. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". The best phone is in the experience of the user

you know how I got my N82? I have used a K810 up till now (good phoen, my 6th SE) and was waiting for the K850. Really glad when I got it, it looks GREAT in black/green.
But everytime I wanted to go to my picture gallery, the phone blocked en fell out. Memory card was not found either (standard memory card). I tried to solve it but no use. I traded it in for the Nokia, and the N82 is better on all fronts (even much better than a properly working K850. Sorry, it's honesty, just plain honesty.
I always preferred SE above Nokia because the software is FASTER (that's why I got rid of my E65, its SLOW)but now the N82 h

itsa just people are now smarter, in the past n-95 have high votes because theres no competition for that phone, but afterwards there are alot of phones have the same features
the only sifference of this phone to n-95, is the xenon flash and the crappy design
and both have the poor battery
not like n-95 8gb have the better battery than this garbage

Battery is not poor, at all. Its great, at least for 3-4 days wich is suffience.
Can someone though explain the ratings this phone get? It way better then most other phones and outperforms them, but W960 gets better marks, SE K850 similar, same with HTC Touch. Its insane, one should think that ppl vote this phone down.
