This phone is terrible and is not really an improvement from the Nokia n95 besides the xenon flash. This phone doesn't even have an infrared port and has a worst design and has even bader battery life!

Who cares about the rating! I own this phone since two weeks now and it's by far the best phone i ever had. The camera take very good pictures (the xenon flash is very strong, so night picture is excellent), video recording quality is amazing for a cell phone. Good music player with loud volume and bass. The 3.5 mm audio output jack and the TV out, are very useful. The GPS gives the right direction very fast. The battery could be better: normal usage it will last max 2 days, one day when using a lot!

I like the candy bar shape, the keypad is small but i had no problem using it! For now, this is the best all-in-one phone that you can get! You will not be disappointed for the price (600USD) that you pay!

I've had this fone over a week now and its still performing well. One thing I'd like to say about slide phonse. People have different tastes. I prefer this candybar version. I was envious when N73 came out but realised it didnt have wlan so I opted for the N80 and was happy. but the thing is that I just didnt like the slide phone. although the features were great I longed for the candybar. This feels like a phone and everything is at hand without sliding, opening and feeling for buttons. This, for me is more convienient and its at a touch of a button. Note I also have N80, e61i, SEw850i, and N95 for buisness and this is by far more ergonomic and convienient for me. I understand it may not be for everyone but its an all-in-one. I cant wait for a higher capacity battery.

Primarily, the phone performs outstanding as a point and shoot camera. The flash is a great addition. You can make necessary changes to exposure and tone prior to taking the picture you can even create and your own user defined setting.

As a music player the clarity and sound with the 8 band user define equalizer through own sony headphones as amazing. I do recommend to use or get a decent pair. I prefer to use my Sony BT50 Bluetooth DJ-phones and the bass kick's ass... forget the megasbass on the SE850i or other SE phones. Through these headfones, the thumping was even vibrating my ears. I also have a Bluetooth motorola S805 and the quality is OK. So to all who like their music get a decent pair of headphones.

Navigation throughout all the different menu settings is smooth. Rendition of the gallery is fast. GPS is quick to locate position.

Syncronising with bluetooth is good and reading of micro sd could be a little faster when refreshing new music files... mind you I do have 4gigs of music on one card. And yes it can easily read HCSD cards upto 32gig when it becomes available. I'm looking to get the 8gig so stay tuned to test with this phone.

My only niggle with this phone is batterylife it last well over a day and this is with all the roaming options on, e.g. WLAN sucks the life out pretty fast, I'd say with this on, you would expect up 10-12 hours give or take.... so either bring a charger or use it the WLAN when needed. All in all the battery can last for about a day and a half without the WLAN. Which isn't bad but could be better.

We all have to take in consideration that this is not your normal low featured phone that takes great pictures and play good music.... its so much more than that. I work in IT/networks and so I need a phone, not to only function as a phone but to have the capability to read 4 emailboxes and view the attachments and test networks including VOIP (Wlan). Symbian have come a long way with this phone and so far. This is the best phone I have ever own.

SIP is supported... I got it working with no probs. I use VOIPSTUNT and quality is great! I also have E61i and N80 and have it configured the same way.

                              how can anyone moan!

                              the battery is good too!

My N95 (after the software update) has a decent battery life.

this will have updated software, and has a higher capacity battery so why are u moaning!
