Youre n85 is not even... morejudging by your opinion in the n82 forum i think you've already realized that the n82 isn't in the top 3 anymore. rankings don't really work, and it's bacause of people like you who vote 10,10,10 when you know that no phone is perfect. cmon don't be such a cry baby and stop asking everyone to vote 10 for the n82... also we have to consider HATERS, those guys only vote 1,1,1 for the phones and brands they don't like... rankings in this web page are the most useless to consider when purchasing or deciding which is the best phone.

To all prospective buyers please do not put ur hard earned money on this piece of crap called nokia n85.
This is my personal experience. I bought this mobile for around 500 US dollars but had to sell it after 3 days at 400. No return policy at my place.
1. Loose slider,loose numeric keypad (believe me u can take it out just by putting your nail under its lower end), it is made of very thin cheap plastic. Battery cover is also loose with play.
2. Camera is worse than my earlier n82,lack of xenon flash,poor camera butten,fails to lock focus even on repeated pressing. Poor feel of camera button.
3. OLED screen very poor performance in direct sunlight.
4. USB charger- more wear and tear at single point. The 2mm charger is most durable.
5. Fm transmitter poor signal only a gimmick.
6. Slow fp2 interface,poor graphics(no 3d accelerator)just compare the photo gallery with n82 (n82 has a graphic accelerator and dual processor)
I had to revert back to my old faithful n82 which i think is still the best nokia smartphone.

and if you want amazing camera,buy adigital camera
BUT if you want mobile get n85

VSK, 17 Jan 2009hi guys is firmware upgrade for this phone easy ? ca... morejust press *#0000# then ok u see ur firmware version on screen, select optional and then update software ur phone will be updated by latest firmware if available.. the last one is 11.047..

i got this phone just 2 weeks back .its really a great phone . but i an very much disppointed with its sound . it doesn't give that sound effect that sony ericsson phone's give. for me sound is the only drawback of this phone

I can't believe people complain so much about N85 camera. Don't forget its just a phone not a digital camera. If you want great pictures please buy camera and stop bitching about N85 picture quality. Its getting really annoying.

N82 is far better than N85...the thing that makes N85 special is that it has FM TRANSMITTER..other wise there is noway through which N82 can be beaten by N85..N82 is faster than N85 and the camera of N85 SUCKS BIG TIME...IN FACT THE CAMERA OF N85 comes no where near N82...N85 is not even a CYBER-SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HONESTLY FROM MY EXPERIENCE..N82 IS THE BEST...SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

Tomal, 16 Jan 2009lol ....... i dont know y many people are complaining abt b... moregood for you that you got a non defective phone. i hope nokia care can fix mine to have that long battery life like yours. its faster to txt sms using keypad of n85 than on my 5800, im keeping my n85 after the repair

And don't buy another phone except Nokia..
Nokia is the best phone product..BUY IT.. I have N85&5800 Express Music..those are useful for me..
