Tom, 20 Dec 2008Will anyone post any comment on the navi wheel? Is it as ba... morei bought my nokia N85 2 weeks ago and i'm happy with it though until now i'm still learning how to fully use all it's features. i don't think that the navi wheel is bad, you just have to understand what 'navi wheel' means and use it properly.there's no such thing as the 'perfect phone'. you just have to choose one that satisfies you and for me, this one does especially with the long battery life.

I own this phone N85-3 US 3G. It's pretty cool. The D-pad sucks however. When pushing up, which a hard press, sometimes I push the center button. Wifi also has issues, I never had this problem with my N95 8GB. I also own the Iphone 8GB. I don't know N85 has a great camera and many, many features, but it still has awkward issues. I think the D-pad should be round and formed differently. And one thing that would be the utmost best is if the screen would shrink and enlarge like the Iphone. Too many phones, too many choices!

buuju, 25 Dec 2008Dear Perzand, IMHO Sony Ericsson c905's camera is the best... moreN82 can support 16GB , see the accessories there, there is a NOKIA 16GB microSDHC card MU-44, click the compatibility
even old device like N76,N95 also can support it
until now i just see got N76 user use 4GB, haven't see any use 16GB yet

well, c905 grab the last place of 8MP competition , n the video only can record max QVGA quality compare to N85 VGA quality

Perzand, 20 Dec 2008Is Nokia N85 has a proper navi wheel. Is nokia has a good q... moreDear Perzand,
IMHO Sony Ericsson c905's camera is the best. But I preferred Nokia due to superior GPS performance. With SE phones, you need to access base stations in order to get the map which incurs a lot of money. Therefore I chose Nokia N85 with which maps are free and you don't need a base station and GPRS/EDGE connection to get your map. If you cannot decide on the model ( between N82, N85), I strongly recommend N85, since it supports 8GB microSD card (unlike N82, which supports 4GB) and has a faster and more powerful CPU.

I think it is not very easy to buy such expensive sets. You must go to nokia care before the warranty of your set expires.

it is a stupidity to have such an expensive phone like n 85 which does not have a good sound and a picture quality. i think nokia should go for good quality in leu of quantity in the recession time.
