Hey guys this phone is outstanding features gps work perfectly work faster than n86 and n96 but one thing how can i change navi wheel to navi keys is it possible to turn navi keys.

N85,N95,N82,N79 ARE STILL THE KINGS OF THE SMARTFONE WORLD..They continue to be praised and used but its getting difficult to find them new ..With all firmware updates (i suppose i could include 5800 altho not liking of touchscreens)these nokia smartfones are little gems...
Why nokia not making these type of mobiles no more,please nokia symbian ^3^4 n85 style mobiles..

video record vga @ 30fps with fluid motion,
camera with good results at 6x4 inch print,
mp3 player and podcast player,it takes a while to refresh 10gb of music but so does my computer,
watch/alarmclock/calender /reminder/notes,
I watch videos on it,
twitter using series60 tweet;
games machine like timewasters not pro gaming,
calculater,
I could go on but it does all i want and i have france 24 as well but needs 3g for good fluid motion video..i love this fone and creakiness is true on d-pad panel because it one piece plastic..All the lights disaapear leaving just that breathing light its so cool..

I had mine nearly year bit of paint come off due to constant use.Gud battery and does all,watching france 24 live on n85 now about chillie mine rescue.I use heavily for buisness and reliable but yes a bit creaky.Had n86 3 days battery flat at 1pm so no good to me.9 out 10 for me.took on hols 4 vids/cam and good.

Nyc luks n gud specs.Hav been using it since Feb '09.It has a gud camera bt d quality in low light condition decreases drastically(coz no Xenon flash).Overall experience has been gud.Hav a few problems lyk-Smtimez ven takin a photo only white screen appears(over xposure???).D music player doesn't function properly-It does not repeat a selected song(very rarely it does);Smtimez aftr playin 2-3 songs it gets paused randomly...Can ny1 suggest nythin for dis

Hi all. This phone is gud. Good camera, good music, clear screen, speed browser, etc.
But my n85 always restart when i playing games, listening music, and surfing. What must i do so my n85 doesnt restart anymore?
My phone is cracked at the red button and the front camera is broke.

But my keypad is broken..
Lost paint at the camera cover volume button and navi wheel,
one crack above the multimedia key.
Broken keylock slider, (i used to play with it frequently)
loosen camera button (I used the camera button as the pencil key last time :|)
broken back cover. (I used to play with it frequently too)
And I have found a crack under that navi button just few month after purchasing this phone.
The navi wheel and zero button is not functioning well. (I suspect it is cause by water)
Overall the phone is just great. I had dropped it several times and there is no any scratch around the phone casing.
Just take good care of your phone.. lol. But I wonder why don't you buy the N86? It is a N85 + better camera. N86 navi wheel also function as a light notifier unlike only breathing in N85.

Build quality of tis phone is superb... the breathing of the navi wheel makes me easy to find my phone in dark~~~

N85 users help me out. Nokia has stopped de production of n85 in India and i got an offer in a showroom for 11k. Its an old stock. I found this phone very interestin bcoz of its eye catchin looks. I haven used any n series phones or haven owned a nokia phone and i wish to hav 1 now. I had read many reviews about de n85 in this site which makes me confused. I really doubt whether i should go for it or go for de sony ericsson hazel. All features are kind of de same between them except for very few things. So guys help me decide:-)
