i love this phone
i love the Samsung and SE fanboys coming here in Nokia, they just make this page more interesting.
it just proves how jealous they are to this phone. The hottest ALL-IN-ONE best VALUE device to be announced edging its way to become the biggest hit and to topple down Samsungs innov8 and SE C905 that didn't make any buzz at all..
and now sawing stories against Nokia..
keep on going and Gud luck fanboys!!

I have n0kia 6270 and its about 1.5 years old. It is a high end high cost mobile from nokia. I and my many friends trusted and bought several nokia costly sets. But after the warranty is over it started giving problem....And when i took it to nokia care, they said [bit can not be repaired[/b], they even did not see what was the problem. Then i took it to another nokia care, and this time they just touched it and told it can't be repaired..... Friends do not buy nokia high end mobile phones because the[b after sells service of nokia is the worst ever[/b].i and my friends are suffering so i thought that i should post my bitter experience to all.....Once your warranty is over your costly set will start giving problem and if it is then its gone because nokia's high end mobile life time is just the warranty period they provide. Most customers are facing this problem.....Friends be alert and please do not buy nokia....

My money is on the N96....bt wont spend wat nokia is expacting 4 it...
I recon nokia is tryna generate funds with the N96 2 suport its Own new Chipsets .....my be to produce more recourses and researching then implimenting the new chips in the new and upcoming Models......It makes scence bt they mist the deadline 4 this Phones Releas date and Hype wave...nt many ppl are gona purchase it....I think they realised wat hapend with the N95-1 and desided 2 delay the release date....in order 2 avoid any problems.....
So Nokia wen i purchase this handset(N96)...i dnt expact any faults....i want it smooth runing.....
So il be shoping 4 a phone November......N96 here i come!!!

What are Nokia Playing at???!!!! This is meant to be their 'long awaited' flagsship handset, yes? So why is it the N85 is coming out in October and was only just announced, the N85 has VERY SIMILAR if not EXACT specs than the N96. Worse still, the battery on the N85 LASTS LONGER than the N96..What is this once great and inspiring manufacturer doing?????????????? I was so looking forward to getting a N96 having always bought Nokias ALL my life, but after their shenanigans and con-tricks, I think I will go for the T-Mobile Vario 4....I am sick of Nokia playing stupid games with our money!

What kind of accelerator are you talking about? A 3D graphics accelerator or an accelerometer sensor? Either way, it's not unprecedented as far as Nseries is concerned. N95 has both. Besides, I don't even know if this device has a 3D dedicated GPU. If someone knows for sure, please share your info.
And Mihai, this does look good indeed. I don't know what's so controversial with this design.
But hey, it says here "English only". Although I'd love to talk to you this way, this rule has some reasons. What if every single visitor of this forum started to speak in their own languages? Would anyone understand anything? Makes sense, doesn't it?

i forgot to mention this. n95 8gb and n85 may appear to have the very same camera and video capabilities with n85 seems to beat the n95 8gb because of lens cover and dual led flash, but it goes the other way around. infact, when it comes to hardware, the n95 8gb has the upperhand. n95 8gb has the best 5mp camera lens with a focal length of 5.6 same with n82, while n85 has a focal length of 5.45 only. i just dont know if the difference in image quality produced by n85 will differ much in comparison with n95 8gb, we'll see... another thing is the video recording, they seem to be identical because of the capability to record videos in vga resolution at 30fps. but it will alk comes down to the quality of the video produced by n85 and n95 8gb. n95 8gb is already tested to produce great video quality, thanks to its fully capable dual core tiomap processor with 3d graphics acceleration hardware. will n85 fair enough with n95 8gb in this department? can it produce the same quality of video with its single processor only. n85's processor is same with 6220c, a freescale processor with no 3d graphics hardware. 6220c records a much worse quality of video comared to n95 8gb even its 30fps. the reason is because of the lack of hardware requirement to produce great video quality.

Allaboutsymbian have already predicted this phone to be the overall winner this quarter, judging from the price, the cutting edge technology it contains, all rounder theme. the style and form factor alone can topple down any other upcoming phones. Congrats Nokia, Job well done..
