i have nokia 6270,and its about 1.5 years old. it is a high end high cost mobile from nokia. i and my many friends trusted and bought several nokia coslty sets. but after the warranty is over it started giving problem.........and when i took it to nokia care ,they said [bit can not be repaired[/b],they even did not see what was the problem. then i took it to another nokia care,and this time they just touched it and told it can't be repaired...............friends do not buy nokia high end mobile phones because the[b after sells service of nokia is the worst ever[/b].i and my friends are suffering so i thought that i should post my bitter experience to all..................once your warranty is over your costly set will start giving problem and if it is then its gone because nokia's high end mobile life time is just the warranty period they provide. most customers are facing this problem..............friends be alert and please do not buy nokia

in sound, software, screen, battery life, design, build, n85 is better than n95 8gb.
in processor, and camera, n95 8gb is a bit better. n95 8gb has dual processor. n85 only has single processor. n95 8gb has a camera with focal distance of 5.6, n85 has a camera with focal distance of 5.45.

the reasons why you should choose n96 over n85 are:
-comes with 16gb internal memory
-dual cpu (n85 is single cpu only)
-dvb-h live tv broadcast (in the philippines, it's free in smart)
-larger 2.8" screen with kickstand for better video viewing experience
-tv out beams vga resolution on tv (n85 only beams qvga resolution via tv out)
if those things are important to you, go get the n96

Thanks for the link for the N85 review an this mobile to me will be a top class seller from Nokia,o.k the i8510 might win on the camera function but its a price difference with the N85 that will get more people to sign up for the N85,e2save says its available in 4 weeks time an might try out the i8510 first before i get the N85

Dude those models are pre-sale samples of N85 and N96. d benchmark is perform on dat sample handsets.

flash, 01 Sep 2008my god, what the hell nokia is doing, creating new and new ... morewow... to the guy that just commented on how gr8 the iphone 3g is...buy 1...compare the functionality of that phone to the n85 and please tell me...apart from the hailed multitouch interface :-\ (not that big of a deal in my opinion) wat is soooo special about the iphone 3g.. wat makes it so gr8...is there anything that the iphone can do that the nokia n85 cant do already...furthermore is there anything the iphone can do that my 3 year nokia 3250 cant do?...i think not...please stick to apple's forums if u have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion

I believe that this will cost lower than N95 8GB because this will me marketed as a midtier Nseries. Proof, N78, after a few days of being sold at a high price, Nokia plunge down the price to unimaginable depth, and it contains a new pf2 too, FM transmitters as well as other upgrades.

First, who said anything about its price? And who said anything about it being less expensive? It's not even out!
Surely, I'd put it out at 140% of the N95 8GB's price, at least. Reason: it's newer, FP 2, OLED, dual LED. Though that doesn't make me want to give 1,5 times the money of N95.

wow.. this is almost a complete phone. the only thing lacking is the xenon flash.. But from what i've heard from the n85 review that i saw on youtube, the flash is a bit better than n95 8gig. they said it's a bit close to the xenon flash of the n82.
also, i not fond of slider / clamshell Phones. but function-wise, this is a good phone. great display and interface as well.

... moreI dont think n79 mising a xenon flash is a negative thing. Its got the dual led which can be used for recording videos in low light (which the xenon cant do). From what i saw at youtube, that flash is quite bright.
I think nokia is just giving consumers a range of products to decide from. If the n79 had a xenon flash, no one would get the n82.

what is nokia doing??? creating new and new phone with almost same features? i dont see any major differences between N95,N96,N81,N79,N85!!! what are they trying to do? fooling people? common!!! i wont be shock if nokia fell behind SE and samsung.
many companies are competing now with the great apple iphone! SE,HTC,LG and samsung! no nokia phone can compete with iphone!
