n96 is much better than n85.sound quality of n85 is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy badddddddddddddddddd . oled gives u very dark colour which is not better than n96.

plus u see the other plus points of n85 over n96..
like,
unlike n85, n96 doesnt have a touch sensitive navi wheel..
n96 is giant in size if compared wid n85, n85 -> 103 x 50 x 16 mm, 76 cc, but n98 is -> 103 x 55 x 18 mm, 92 cc
n96 has too many keys around the naviwheel to make it a hodge podge.. n85 is clean
main disadvantages:
n85 has AMOLED display, which makes a hell lot of difference, n n96 wid normal TFT display..
n85 has a ARM 11 369 MHz processor CPU, while n96 is Dual ARM 9 264 MHz processor..although i havent personally used n96, but in this case, n85 should be more faster n smoother to use..
n it rly is, m using n85 n its soo cool, fast n smooth, n the OLED display has no comparison..dat makes it special.. n if u talk abt the memory, thn spending about 10k (INR) more for 10GB memory is not worth i guess..n85 comes with 8GB card n thats enough for i cell phone.. and if u want more memory then 16GB or even 32GB cards are also compatible with n85.. before buying this phone i did a lot of research that which one should i go for, n i found this phone to be perfect..
so go for n85 for sure..no hesitation, no worries..nothing!!

husi, 15 Apr 2009i bought this phone 5 days ago.. loving it.. very cool.. an... morehi, Im looking to change my phone and dont know weather to go for the N96 or the N85, the only thing that is putting me off the N85 is the slide on the phone, It springs up nicely on the N96 but I havent tried the N85, please advise

i bought this phone 5 days ago.. loving it.. very cool.. any wanna ask something about it!!?
anyways, i do wanna ask one thing :D actually i installed accelerometer n motion sensor based applications like landscape pro, rotateME, nokmote, alertME, shakeME.. but very few motion based applications worked, like xDancer, Step Counter and alertME.. rest applications like landscape pro, rotateME, nokmote, shakeME etc aint working :( is this a compatibility issue.?? but the compatibility list involves n85.. then whats the prob.?? need to install accelerometer plugin? although i cudnt find for n85, i do installed one for n95..but still no changes.. or changes wid OS version, n95 was 9.2 n dis is 9.3 .. !? ny clue??
can ny1 help me?? plz, i rly need these applications working..

hey guys, i have just bought N85 3 days before
I dnt knw from wher to downoload themes for this phone..
i have downloaded some themes but they are not working in it showing that "file format not supported"
Can sum1 pls pls pls tell me from where and how to download themes and 1 more thing, where the themes will be shown in the phone

This by far is the best nseries phone. I have had a n73, n82, n85 currently, n95, n95 8gig. The build quality is great very heavy and solid. Camera is better then my n82 minus shots with xenon flash. I love feature pack 2. Phone is super fast with no lag and camera is very fast focusing and taking pictures. Will not regret. O by the way i had the lg renoir and the camera on the n85 kills it :)

Can someone let me know where to find the smileys? I can't seem to be able to find them!!!
How do I deactivate the internet access? I sometimes accidentally press the small button next to the navigating button & it showed me the internet access screen. I think I'm being charged for that, can't stand it!!!!

The best Nseries to date is N82. N85 is new and more eyecandy but it's not as good or nowhere near as being good as N82.

well... N82 has good camera... but N85 has the quickest camera among the Nseries...i like N85 bcoz of this.. after tweaking the setting.. N85 is far better than N82[also after tweaking]...but at night shot N82 still better [xenon]for video recoding...N85 is better than N82 . !!
anyway... N85 - FP2 ..new, OLED, gaming keys,video recording,Ngage...

The name doesn't show in my Inbox & every time I make a call. So i check each numbers that are in my Contacts.
