hey friendz i hv been using dis ph since 4 5 months...its really great symbian ph...but from last 3 4 dayz em facing a problem...i send message and it remains in outbox...i am unable 2 send messages....can somebody help me plz solving dis problem???i shall b thankful 2 u

sms timer app works great allowing you to set a time for your sms to be sent...I use it to send me a txt at 7.30am to remind me to get up and use txt part to remind me wats on agenda that day..Trouble is i got a txt today saying trial is up so is their a freeware app that does the same thing..I-player works fine for me but i download and save if possible

Have got bbc i-player installedd,,licenses downloaded and all goes good for 30 seconds and then it disconnects from wi-fi..I am even stood next to my router..My laptop sometimes disconnects but thats 4 walls and 35ft away..I am stumped and have you got you tube working yet???

opera--mini.opera.com on n85 google search
Their is another browser i want to try called boltbrowser,,,boltbrowser.com
Plus i have usual from zedge.net and getjar.com such as calcium,,stopwatch..
www.allaboutsymbiam.com do a free application section altho some is needing an update..
Now i am struggling with an up to date divx player,,the one i use says out of date and to download the latest edition but cannot..My x innov8 plays these ok and should play on n85 with divx software can anyone help find a suitable divx player..I have also heard about smartmovie but cant get it to work it just out of date..
Theirs a lot going on in this smartfone and battery life to support it and a superb screen..enjoy it cause i am and have not even got all my folders set up properly yet for easy access..Dont forget make a folder called unused and shove all the apps you dont use in it BUT if you come to need them they are still on device ready to use and you will be glad you just didnt delete them..Enjoy

how do i access you tube on this phone with wi fi? It always load and show rstp and black display in real player. Does it really support you tube in view with net browser?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970N85 would be a better option taking the price factor as well as the compactness...the N96 is tooo bulky..and both pretty much have the same features.

this is by far the best mobile I have ever owned.
It has everything except a keyboard. symbian outsmarts WM in all sense.

i read reviews about f.m. Transmitter has a bad reception but i didnt got any probs as i m able to play songs 4m a dist. of approx. 10 feet in my music sys

In smartfone and PDA essentials magazine this got top consumer mobile,,they could not reccomend n96 cause of poor construction,,battery,,defunct dvb-h and poor i-player playback plenty of shutter lag and so on..
The n85 is the flagship according to 3 mags and mobile review.com and so on but nokia pushed and advertised the expensive n96 hanset because of the dvb-h which is useless in uk and i-player is choppy and uk gadget show could not reccomend it..The n85 is the best but its been not heavily advertised and people are missing out on a decent upgrade because they have been pushed to accept the n96 as an upgrade..In fact if your upgrading from say the n70 or n73 i would advise you to even buy n95-1 or n958gb over n96 its that poor..I have not read one proposal on the n96 yet lots of praise and decent scoring for n85..

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2009when i connected my n85 with the power the mobile making ab... moreit has been answered in an earlier post try using search at bottom of page,,,you have to turn something off..The n85 is the ultimate symbian smartfone with so much in it i have yet to try it all after 2 weeks plus true colour screen solid battery.. its a better smaller n95..totally love this fone..

About the cam: Can you turn off the camera shutter sound? Is the cam fast and responsive after pressing the shutter key?
About the games: Is there a # limited of times you can try out the games?

when i connected my n85 with the power the mobile making abnormal sound and i have to remove the battery;is there anyone have this problem ?

hey i bought this phone yesterday.. and its awesome phone..
my favorite is NAVI WHEEL func.... its too good.. so easy to use...
Camera clarity is great, using keypad is very easy...
and yesterday only i updated my firmware to 11.047 (since not noticed any visible changes)
but turely i like this phone...
