reese, 02 Mar 2009hi guys. i want to know if it is worth it to buy this phone... morego for the n85. its just great. not just for the new FP2 but for the whole new experince. its OLED is amazing. you have to use n85 to understand its capabilities. its a whole new nokia, miles ahead of n95 and n82. 100% user satisfaction.

        i just got mine 10 minutes ago and its on charge for a good 16hrs,,Over next week will definitly be reporting on it..As i went to plug in charger (its really firm )i could not resist a quick look at screen and looks really deep and warm glowing colours,,but had to turn it off straight away as set up procedure was starting and will do that later..It feels so tiny to the innov8 i have been using and about same size as n82 i had but feels thinner in depth,,in fact its quite tiny..

          hi guys. i want to know if it is worth it to buy this phone. now i am using the N82 and i want FP2. i heard that the n85 has a good audio quality. it is true? is it better than the n82? because the n82 sound to me is good with V30. i dont mind the camera but i want a slider. i really like the fm transmitter and the transition effects of FP2. is it worth it for me to get this phone? please reply.

              I'm really impressed with the N85, which I've had for about a week now.

              One of the features I love is the FM transmitter, which was one of the key selling points. I'm able to play all the MP3's from my phone on my car stereo, and although not completely flawless is pretty good.

              Also, one thing I discovered the other day is the ability to pick up Internet Radio. The nice thing about this is you can then transmit this via the FM transmitter to your normal radio. Of course though you need a decent Internet connection, but in the house this is fine.

              One slight negative is the gaming. The Keys aren't that great for gaming purposes, even though it's one of the key selling points of this phone.

              Also the auto-rotate is a bit annoying.

              All the same though, it's a great phone, and I would highly recommend it. I keep finding new things it can do!

                  the n85 is excellent in every aspect I can think of for the 2 months I've had it. I really admire the screen, its colours are a lot "warmer" than your average TFT screen and more natural (due to OLED). As for the early complains on rebooting when recharging, that has never happened to my unit. earpiece is fine, everything works great. My imei unit has the 7th & 8th number 02, even so it has never failed me once.

                        i have owned this for 5 weeks,,no earpiece probs but the odd crash that i have had has been past 12 nokia smartfones its nothing new to me.. The n85 is a good fone just typical nokia with superb screen and battery..9/10 from me..

                            Cnt wait to get this fne 2m its mint & as for N95 8GB & N85 id say N85 as the N95 takes ages frmt he data cable where as this has a slot so mre memory if needed nd the earpiece problems erm well Lucky of draw init soz guys lol

N85 HAS HARDWARE PROBLEMS . . . . . . . . . . . . i bought this phone 1 week ago and yesterday when i recieved a call i couldnt hear anything from its headset . . . . . . . . . I have to use earpiece or lovespeaker to recieve call . . . . . . . MY SISTER HAS N79 FROM ONE MONTH. . And that have no problem 79 is better than 85 in all aspect . . . Plz any body has same problem . . . . . Plz post ur comments

                                        There seems to be a lot of people comparing phones over and over again. Okay, here it goes:
                                        In comparison to N85,N95 8GB has better camera, both image and video quality, larger but inferior screen, much much much better build quality, much louder speakers, 3D graphics accelerator, and is more expensive. In turn, in comparison to N95 8GB, N85 has better screen, better sound quality through the headphones, more compact but poorer build quality, longer battery life, more 3G bands, naviwheel, fm transmitter, fp2 and is cheaper.
                                        N85 and N79 have basically the same feature sets except for the screen and form factor. N85 is better overall. But N79 is more durable and cheaper.
