nokiafan, 28 Feb 2009hey guys im up to buy a new handset and i can't decide whet... moreIf you're short on a budget, get the N79. But if you can afford to add a few bucks more, get N85. N85 and N79 basically have the same feature sets. The only difference lies on the screen and form factor. And also, the build quality. N79 is more durable while N85 has a lot of build issues.

I have the N85 when same one msg me there number comes up but the number is saved to the phone. what the ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

nivine, 26 Feb 2009hi reader ! i bought this phone cause i like it very much a... morei have bought this phine also just a month ago.... ive noticed that this phone is hanging.... or it suddenly restarts,,,,, while doing the video and playing the music waht seems to be the problem

I... morei had the same problem with the mysterious flashing envelope. i went thru all my inbox/outbox/drafts/sent folders and nothing made it go away, so i deleted ALL my mssgs in my folders, and it didnt go away, so finally i reset the phone to factory settings and it went away. dont fret, cuz it will just bring all your settings on yer phone like you got it on day 1. NOTHING will get erased. on the standby menu screen, type *#7780# then select Restore factory settings. this resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data). hope that helps.

I just mailed my 2month old N85 to NokiaRepair for problems on the actual earpiece/speaker. Lots of peeps are having issues!! I love my N85, and i hope Nokia can fix it or replace it!!

I have on e and i have a flashing envelope in the top right hand corner? i have checked all messages and voice mail, still flashes????

hi reader ! i bought this phone cause i like it very much also the quality and everything in it qualification but there is something bad about it that i used it 1 week after trying it i picked it up to answer the phone i couldnt here nothing the speaker went down so now am using headphones to pick up the phone too bad :( but i still love it

kimberley, 26 Feb 2009n85 is only 3mm thicker than my d900 that i use to go on to... moreI also have d900 and its amazing what they pack in these days..If you takle out battery and look whats left every radio chip i.e.bluetooth ,wi-fi ,gps ,gsm is in that space plus lcd screen, keypad,processor,speakers, and so on..and also with sliders and clamshells you have 4 layers of shell rather than 2 in a candybar and that takes up thickness as well as having to be rigid..What i mean layers is the top slider has an outer shell inners and then another shell to make the unit plus 2 on bottom half.
