why on earth are people posting lie's about the camera performance???? I was going to get a camera but know am not going to bother because this is good enough!!!

i got got a n86 (firmware v11).. great phone.. does anyone know how to turn off camera shutter sound? it still has the sound when i put it in silent. Thanks

sea-breeze, 20 Jan 2010i must admit that v21 brought a great enhancment for night... moregreat pic man, the sky colour and the lights, looking very beautifull. in this type of conditions, no xenon phone can out perform n86. this is where n86 really shines.

josh, 20 Jan 2010if the n82 is such a good camera phone than tell me WHY it ... morethe n95 and n95 8gb are the most popular, revolutionary and best phones nokia has ever made and yet they are all discontinued as well just like n82 for the fact that they are old enough and nokia cannot afford to lower their cost so the only way is to phase them out.

nokia n86 will die soon... Kurara will be official, sam specs, like headphone jack, connectivity, same camera!!! BUT 720 FPS!! in video!!! Damn! Nokia had just been served!!!

I had K800 before and wanted new top camera phone. N86 works great, I made more than 1000 pics and 100 videos on V20. Qualitiy of those is great. I like the phone in other aspects too, even though i got dust under screen and keys have scrathes.
The only condition K800 outperforms N86 is in party like condition - dark and ppl moving, where real flash can freeze pic and led can not. In all other ways N86 makes 50% better pics tbh.
What is stupid on nokia is call log, it shows calls in 3 diff tabs and not showing which number contact called from (mobile, work, etc). wtf nokia?

my previous cp was n82. i would say its still rock. though n86 is an improvement. the money you are paying is not worth. plus the ugly design of n86 wil turn you down in the crowd.

daviddddddddd, 20 Jan 2010Is it made in china??? why ????if u r from asia, u'll get products made in china. its the production centre 4 asia. for europe there is some place else. its the way bussiness is run. apple, samsung, sony, nokia, etc that are supplied in asia are made in china or sumtimes japan. they usually don't sell nokias (made in finland) in asia because that would require extra shipping cost. And if they do that then, we will have to pay more money to buy the same product. So to reduce cost n other problems, they have setup manufacturing factories in china for asia, finland 4 europe, etc.

oh don't make me laugh... comparing N82 with N86... obviosly N86 win because has 28mm lens and 8 megapixel camera, and a lot of features that make this phone VERY powerful, FM transmitar, 8gb internal memory and expandable to 32gb, this is my next phone for several yerasr because nokia produces REAL phones

How can this phone lose out to K800i when it's won the TIPA award for Best Mobile Imaging Device 2009. Even with the like of Innov8 and SE in the running. I've used the K800i and let me tell you it's the worst SE phone I've used. I had had to go back to the Service centre to repair my phone every 2 months. Ridiculous isn't it. You must have really gotten a LEMON. Grow up and dont be childish.

is the n87 real if so it will be the phone to get go nokia
