josh, 03 Jan 2010what did you do???? did you take out some of the compressio... morehi. i havn't done anything to the compression.. n i have not uploaded any of my photos yet.. try taking sum close up photos. i have just set some manual settings like set the colour tone to vivid. n adjusted the camera angle so dat it doesn't suffer lens flare..like already wrote by sum1 in this page, with right camera angle n settings N86 can work wonders.

Anish south africa, 03 Jan 2010Hai all.i got n86 4 months back.i also got a n96.n96 is far... moreI had a problem with freezing screen (N86) too and did a format of the mass storage and a reset, really helped. Solved other problems too like not able to send sms.

Anish south africa, 03 Jan 2010Hai all.i got n86 4 months back.i also got a n96.n96 is far... moremy N86 has got 8MP camera with wide angle lens and variable aperture. does ur N96 has it?? .......my N86 has 434 MHZ processor. ur N96 has only 263 MHZ....MINE has the latest symbian installed on it with sum 5th edition visuals....mine has stratched resistant mineral glass with metal chrome around it. ur n96 feels like cheap plastic...mine audio quality is better than n96.check out gsmarena audio test.....so does ur n96 has it???? ur n96 is costlier than n86 coz it has inbuilt t.v. tuner. well i'm not interested in watching tv on a small screen. ur has 16gb. but 8gb is enough. mine has active matrix oled screen. colours really shine. urs has cheap lcd screen....mine never hanged not even once in 3 months of usage. wat about ur N96 DUDE????

Is n86 really the best non-touchscreen phone out there?

my brother is a concrete worker so he only has a cheap phone!

Hai all.i got n86 4 months back.i also got a n96.n96 is far far better than n86.screen is freezing for n86.does anyone know how to disable the auto rotate in n86.

I use to use an N95, I generaly carry 2 phones, my personal phone was the N95, i managed to keep it for almost 2years before I felt I needed an upgrade, this is amazing for me, I was so happy when NZ finally got the N86, it's a great phone and I do feel like i upgraded, I like Nokia's little adjustments, like the Kick stand.
Only thing I wish was that there were more App's, therefore i wouldnt need an iphone

Black Bird, 02 Jan 2010yup, it has. it is a dual slider phone like N95 and N85.Sorry friend, but I was asking about the separate multimedia key, which was present in the n85 near the d-pad. Is that multimedia key is present in some other place in n86 ?
