I dont see divx in the specs... NOTE MP4 is NOT divx!!
( the grouping is different from what is specified in the MPEG-4 standard..) Whatever, MP4 will play in my 5800, but not divx...
If you want divx, you need to choose either a 'proper linux' phone like N900 or a WinMobile phone - others phones I see have divx builtin, but dont have an OS, so nothing else can be added (like when a divx is upgraded or beaten..)

      hi there

I'm a big SE and a current SE user, but i have to admit SE always finds ways to dissapoint me!! I mean no WLAN on a 5mp phone, xenon flash? Why? and second, i hate the fact that SE doesnt support alot of media formats and has no downloadable applications for media support. Forget the media go i mean applications dowloaded straight to the device. To be honest SE only trumps nokia in the Camera department and interface which is alot more live compared to a dull nokia interface. My issue was to find a phoe with a decent or great camera, that supports Divx and has a video ringtone, meaning a video appears when someone calls. It seems N86 combines all of these but the software issues are scary. i like to keep my phoes around for a long time, 2-3 yeas if possible, so i really need a relaiable phone that can take a beating and last for a while..Is the N86 such a phone??? based on you guys opinions i'll buy the phone so please no NOKIA VS SE B#LL!

Hi guys, I want to buy this phone, but I have some questions regarding it's camera :
                  1. I've downloaded some sample from letsgomobile.org, what I see is the image looks like an oil painting and some artifacts is present. Is the camera after v.20 still like this?
                  2. I downloaded a N86 photo from flickr, and the size is 3 MB. I think it's impossible. But the exif say it's taken by N86. Is it possible guys? Btw the picture is about a home with some trees in the side.
                  3. How the image quality at night indoor / outdoor? Thanks before to u all! May the God bless u! Cheers... =D

Anonymous, 01 Jan 19701 thing i'am not is a N86 FANBOY!!, the N86 is a truly great phone an i must say the best Nokia smartphone i have owned, saying that you need two hands to slide the the phone is wrong!, the only flaws i see that the N86 has is the poor readability with its AMOLED screen under direct sunlight, an also the speakers could have been a tad louder but other than that its great.

I agree, im a user of both SE phone and nokia n86... All Phones in the market has flaws... even if they released an all in one phone no matter what brand, it shall be criticized by its short comings... Its not longer an issue, its an accepted fact... people have different tastes and needs in a phone, thus sometimes if they think a phone is perfect they shall consider it so. My n86 is a great phone and im aware of its flaws. for me its still perfect AND CATER TO MY NEEDS... :)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970oh deary...another fanboy. thank god im only just an N86 user and not an N86 fanatics who can still criticize a handset of it's flaws.

im only stating facts based on experience and observation. cant you just take it as it is? Of course you can't....you're a fanboy.
