josh, 16 Oct 2009there is nothing wrong with this phone, why are you guys ha... moreHi josh,,your right nothing wrong with fone been using symbian since 2003 its just a few niggles as n86 does seem a little more advanced on some fronts..I usually tap in email items and away i go but it seems different on n86,,maybe its settings need adjusting ..Music player on mine seems to search for ages and not stop but it could be a dud mp3 or other file not recognised by n86 cause symbian like other o/s are fussy about what they can and cannot playin my eyes they should play all the major formats by now its only software..So i agree with you theirs nothing wrong but i wish i could find a torch app to round off my usual feature list its very handy,,It may be the new leds may have their life reduced if you use them as a torch?? i dont know enuf about them except they are powerfull..

Hehe yes got update via wifi fota said no update ,could not be bothered using nsu via comp in fact the more u can do without comp the more independant the fone is, true?

there is nothing wrong with this phone, why are you guys having so much trouble????
oh and was so suprised with the camera performence as it really takes good night shots for a mobile phone camera, am very happy with the camera:) plus the 3rd generation dual leds are so bright (I dont know why people were complaining about)

Good points,,superb camera and smooth video recording,,led very competant..Gorgeous screen with less aggressive light sensor so screen stays quite bright in dim light..Clock on just about every screen..TXT to speech mssge reader and voice activated app launcher..No touchscreen,,and last of all every concievable gadget you can find on a fone from sturdy double slide and kickstand plus a corne copia of app and software plus a bucketload more from free .sisx apps plus ovi store plus get jar..All powered by decent battery and capable proccessor..I would score 9/10 ..

Bugs are,,non stop music searching,,failure to log in to ovi store on fone unless i log in on comp at same time,,v20 causes some playback issues for pre-installed vids,,set up wizard does not set up email had to do it manually plus it seems more complex email to other nokias ive had,,usual folder problems where finding fotos or videos should be straight forward but they are in other catorgorys its very over complicated for something should be relativly straight forward,,no torch apps work to make use of led as torch,,

Sea-Breeze, 15 Oct 2009me too music library keeps on searching forever ! wtf !Its still does the job and i just press or cancel search,,all my songs are their already..I am suprised by battery life under a big heavy day lasted 12.5 hrs before entering power saving mode..I did about 2hrs web on 3.5g ,,10 text sent recieved,,2 mms sent/recieved..32 minutes calls,,2hrs 20 music,,played tetris for about half hour,,other bits and bobs like time checks,,write some notes,f-secure scan,,calculater and others 10-20second items ,,in context it fell stronger battery than n82 of which this fone reminds me of..Its typical nokia where the first bar seems to last ages then the other 6 bars drop quicker so if to sum up so far it good typical nokia product,,one of the better nokias..

i'm torn between the two..

What abt blink detection in next firmware update frnds? I m really counting nokia team for the same. This blinking problem has really ruined several of my pics. Even smile recognition wld b given a warm welcome.

I like the time now been on most screens and audio/cam/video excellent..
Firstly the supplied earfones/buds are quiet maybe due to the noise limiter thingy,,my music search carrys on too as i left it running for 15 mins and still searching,,i also tried factory reset and music icon is still a folder and some vids are running with sound only but could be due to needing the licencse reinstalling..have put a good bit more but mods not putting thru..

first strange BUG i found in v20 or its only me
when refreshing the music library its keeps on refreshing for ever and never ends !!
any1 got that issue ! also the pre-installed videos not working either !!!!!!!
so waiting for next firmware version to fix that up !

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2009I just checkd and mine has the same problem with the pre-in... moredon't believe what the guy said, already done that but nothing happened. Some of the pre installed videos don't play just the audio but no video, but some do play. And the music icon is just an ordinary folder.
