i bought this phone 1 month back i am about to buy w995i but went to n86 nice picture quality good phone i got this phone for 24k worth paye tv output very good i prefer this phone grate mob

I am just tired to read the different opinions... moreYou must go 4 n86 bcoz its symbian.N u already used d symbian N73 hence java phones like SE 995 etc seems to b childs play.U cant use many applications on java phones.N d speed of n86 is much more than n73 n even n79(im using it hs 369 mhz cpu n in n86 434mhz) music quality realy u can feel it better.

Hello guys.. I am just tired to read the different opinions of the users of the N86. I want to buy this phone but some people say tht it is full of problems.
I previously owned N73 ME which for me was very satisfactory. Now looking to change it. SO can anyone please tell me if i shud buy this phone or not..?
PS: While u advice, I am not soo concerned with the camera, i mean a decent camera is fine for me.. The music player and speed of the phone should be nice.. I would also like to knw if it has Facebook application on it..?
I'd really really appreciate ur help..

josh, 08 Oct 2009no it want you will have to do it yourself its easy you kno... morethanx josh ,,its me brynn i missspelt my own name and probably due to being over enthusiastic about arrival of n86..Well thats the best excuse i have or i have been reading up about the penRYNN type proccessor to much !!!

1. 8mp camera wid carl ziess optics(its used in higher sony cameras, endoscopes used in advanced operations,telescopes n camera used in space centres n satellites etc.)
2. 3rd gen LED wch gvs brilliant images in dark.
3. Bright n vivid AMOLED 2.6" screen.
4. Symbian OS(wch lacks in SonyE except Satio)can operate many operations simultaneously.
5. N-gage gaming.
6.Active Kickstand.
7.Excellent music quality in headset aswell as in speakers.
8.Stereo speakers gv realy excellent quality of music(not so loud n irritating its jst mk u in heaven of music).
9.3.5 mm jack(wch lacks in SE satio)
10.Really good battery bkup(unlike d other company they only gv on papers).
11.White colour looks better n stylish.
12.Net surffing really excellent(im using nw N79 its also fantastic).
13.Face detection(aftr updating v20)

Jidderz, 08 Oct 2009The new software update v20.115 did make the unit kinda slo... moreI had a look at my mates lumix camera and the skin looks artifitual to the eye and the images are way too bright because of the xenon flash,
for an expensice camera it is a let down!

The new software update v20.115 did make the unit kinda slow BUT it delivered fantastic images! It had a more natural contrast to it and the skin tones under sodium light was less yellow now. Just a few more tweak Nokia...come on... =D

Mine comes tomorrow!! woohooo getting mine in Sexy White cant wait! Only crap thing was a 24 month contract :( but hey its a sexy phone :) should last me a wee while lol

ssooo,today my n86 was rubbishly slow,2 days after i went v20...humpf:)almost made up my mind to sell it after my pal with an e71 compared the phone speeds,but i like it nonetheless.al rough it out thru this update,the next will probably fine-tune v.20 as opposed to upgrading functionality,but i don't mind.got one of thoz clear plastic casings,phone looks sweeeeeeeet.

At v20 feels fine but i use video mainly ,txt fone and web..serying me well and not heavy in hand even tho 149g

steven , 07 Oct 2009How come no memory card include after i bought my N86? anyo... moreNokia decided that as 8gb is already on the fone this would be enuf for starters so reduced the fone accordingly by including no card..They think that by putting a 1,,2 or 4gb card into the box was no use because if people were using 8gb up allready they would be buying a big card ie 8 or 16gb too supplement heavy memory usage so there was no point including a card..The n86 identified a 32 GB card easily..
There are some sites with 32GB pre-order forms allready ...
