Hi everyone. can anyone tell me is there going to b another software upgrade of n86? bcze its camera quality is really poor right now.

I just updated my software version to 3.0 from 2.0. With this I got free GPS which was not available in 2.0.
Apart from these what are the hi and low for V3.0 as compared to 2.0. Just saw some comment below that picture quality is not good in 3.0, so got curious.

I just got TV out cable for my N 86 and tried playing a movie with it on the TV (It full movie of 2 hours converted to MP4 format). However what I am seeing that on the TV the movie is playing a bit slowly. Did anyone else saw this kind of problem. Also, when I switch the photos quickly it becomes blurred and does not become clear unless the TV out cable is detached. Anyone has any suggestions how to rectify that

You know, thats the deal with Nokia. They NONCHALANT announce their "new" phones around the world where the people are absolutely busy oogling other phones like htc/apple/motorola etc. They should invest more in creative ad campaigns like apple and provide revolutionary product like htc. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY provide continous phone support. I agree with people here saying nokia is the best BUT dont have enough support to back it up. Remeber MAEMO??? the one which they are now trying to KILL by introducing MeeGo? Keep on dooing this nokia and i think you wont be able to make it to 2011... Peace!

Got the black indigo N86 two days ago.A very nice solid feel on N86,though white is nice color too but after sometime usage will get yellowish.Best part is the camera part 8 mega pixel;works great even on night shots too!! if only nokia keep updates going regularly lik iphone will be perfect..

Usually this is solved by a soft reset or a hard reset. also do you have the latest firmware for your phone? its v.30... And try cleaning up your internal memeory because usually its the problem that causes new troubles. These are the problems i had faced before, because of this, i want to change my phone to more basic smart phone like iphone 3gs... I mean I love nokia but they seem to have a problem with their phones, like lack of support, memory problems and dated Software.

and one more thing.. after u send a lot of texts.. does ur mobile phone sometimes not send messages? as in, it goes to outbox but neever sends and after some time it says "resend at **:**" ??? please reply. thanks.

hey.. im about to buy n86.. just had one question,, hows the keypad? is it good for excessive messaging? i text about 100-200 msgs per day.. will it cause any harm to keypad or the slide? please reply.

I've compare the cam of n86 and pixon12
scenario
n0 flash, low light. Both with the same wide angel lens
and i saw how n86 performs very well.
Tip. A righgt use of camera buTton on n86 makes then ph0to really good.

battery is bad?for a phone like this wich is a multimedia phone it has normal battery life.if you want better battery life us a phone from the Eseries.my mom an dad have Eseries and they charge once a week

had this for 7 moths. This phone is Good. battry is what you expect from ALL smartphones sometimes even better... LAst for 2 days or more. Its a reat handy camera and the keypad is sturdy. Yup, I text A LOT and coming from SE K530i, users know how i type (usually press keys really hard)... its a good phone, The only thing i hate is the memory partition. Its one of Nokia's fault that never gets to get fixed. hence im considering going for i phone 3gs or 4.

So you guys do agree with me. Wow. I don't think there will be another firmware update now. When 30.009 was out, everyone spoke of better compression of image sizes. What is the use, if quality is compromised?

one of the most common and cheapest phone i have ever seen through out my mobile life instead of buying it i should buy laptop i cnnot use my monetary fund to purchase such a hang out gadget

this phone is a monster, for me better that the N97! I have one for 4 months, no keypat issues for me, keys are strong!
