disappointed big time.
i had the first n8 (last year) & now the first n9(since october). The N8 was good looks but bad on the hand holding experience. bad on the interface. dropped it from the 6th floor & still used it. the 12 mp would give any camera a run for he money.
N9.........
they should pull this off the market. My next will be the i5. sad but true after being a diehard nokia fan for more than a decade i'm never going back to one. If nokia is listening i influence employee telecom requirements where i work. I hope you now will learn that you cannot let people down for what ever reason.
I wish i had my n8....

Very smooth screen touch, easy and reliable OS, haven't crashed once during these few weeks I have been using it. Also very beautiful phone to look at. Moved from iphone to N9 and haven't regretted.

Good looks but with a lot of short comings operationally: no fonts size adjustments; sent or received SMS merged with previous messages; can't transfer contacts to other cellphones. I hope these were taken care of in your newly launched Nokia 808 PureView.

AnonD-47194, 21 Mar 2012hi avanti
i had download gtalk but their no icon aur fold... moreHi
many persons have similar "doubts" ;) Open Contacts and in the particular single contact look for this. Reason is that this is deeply integrated into N9 normal functionalities - it is not trated as super-hiper shown in the first row. It is where you need it. What you do when you want to make a call? Just open contact and call. What you do when you want to make a video call? Just open contact and video call. This is Nokia N9, it is designed from user point of view. Usually when user want to make a call start with contacts... Anyway this is fresh app still, and perhaps ought to be improved to meet your expectations. That was just allowing to use front cammera API - so perhaps that is why you have problem. Don't look for just use it as for normal calls. I hope it can help you, I did my best ;) .

Very disappointed. Cannot sync contacts & calendar with my computer. They marketed the NokiaN9 as business, smart phone. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

AnonD-44456, 20 Mar 2012and the last two in N series I guess...Definitely not last! In Nokia documents it is NOT stated N9 is last but it is to collect experiences and ideas in long term perispective - this means this is not last. N9 outsels Lumias 4 to 1 in units - they can count, so would be "unwise" if not to use it IMHO. And there is Meltemi which is light-Harmattan MeeGo and it was confirmed recently. I'd like to have simple phone with simplified MeeGo, preferably dual sim. So, not last, this is improbable.
