anyone has this problem of auto connected to automatically used network??

before the update, the network will only be connected if require... now it is connected once detected regardless of in use or not.

    thanks!

I had a N9 since 2 months now and I still don't understand Nokia's decision. The phone is reliable. The design is great. Not only the hardware but also the software. The concept works. So consistent. The swipe is so obvious that when i use the iPhone I can't stop swiping. It really put multitasking at the heart on the phone. It is a pleasure to switch between tasks, closing them.

3 screens that's enough. And the latest software update added folders in the icon view. From tests against Android (Samsung Spica) and iPhone (3GS), the Nokia N9 has a better responsiveness.

The phone is both open and with a store if you want to buy apps or music. Maps are available offline which is a great plus. The user interface is clean. It is a pleasure to use the music player. I also tested the music store. Well implemented. MP3 at 256 kbits. No DRM. The only thing that is missing is a sort of popular tracks in the store. The app store is also easy to use. No need to give your credit card number if you don't want to buy.

So why ending the Meego story? N9 looks like a nice evolution of Symbian. It has everything you need including Flash support. This phone will last.

I downloaded from the store the following apps: Angry Birds (the full version), Calendaricon, cuteTube (perfect to save youtube videos), FlashPlayer, Firefox (even if I like the default browser), Home screen settings, IPRadio, MeeScan (for 2D bar codes), Organiser Feed (to get appointments in the notification view), Speaker Switcher (a great idea ! it turns on/off the speaker phone depending on the proximity sensor), StopWatch & CountDown

If you want to BUY the NOKIA N9 then you should read this:
I bought the N9 2 weeks ago and I am extremely satisfied with this phone. The single downside of this phone I consider to be the lack of the applications and games (but still you get the best of them in the store not all those crappy useless apps form iPhone and Android). The MeeGo OS is absolutely gorgeous and super fast. It was developed in colaboration with Intel and it's a Linux based platform so it is highly customizable and easy to tweak. I have already updated it to the latest PR 1.2 and have absolutely no problem with this phone. The thing that really surprised me the most is the BATTERY !! I cannot believe how much this phone lasts on a single charge. I owned before this a HTC EVO 3D and an iPhone 4 (not an apple fan but not against them either) and I must say that after an hour spent on Yahoo! Messenger and some half an hour of web browsing or some other internet based apps, about 90% of my battery would drain (on the iPhone 4 lasted a little longer though) and if I let all my internet connections open and the GPS...it barely lasted me a day !! With the N9 I browsed the web for about 1 hour, finished playing NFS Shift in about 2 hours downloaded some apps, took some photos and videoclips and by the end of the day I still had 25-30% left. I was really amazed. It felt like the battery lasts 2-3 times more than a regular smartphone. My advice: go to local phone store and try it !! Really ! It is really something unique from all androids and iOS

Nokia N9 is worth any single cent spent on it, it is worth to buy it. At launch of N9 we've been told this is last, nothing will happen etc. By now there was 3 updates (including 1 for developers, so 3 in total) and 4th is planned, but no term promised. In Nokia's 2012 annal public review it is told: "(...) Under our new strategy, MeeGo has become an open-source, mobile operating system project with an emphasis on longer-term market exploration of next-generation devices, platforms and user experiences. We aim to bring a variety of innovations that emerge from our MeeGo program as well as learnings from the Nokia N9 to future products. (...)" So everyone can read from this what they want, but it is not stated there will be no more MeeGo support, contrarry they are going to learn from N9, so in normal bussines logic (for me at last) this build opportunity to built new MeeGo device, what is very wanted by current N9 users, as most of them who tried has become devoted users counted already in millions, in all over the World. It was told "there is no soft" - currently you can find whatever you want for N9, in Wikipedia N9 article you will in sources links to serveral pages with plenty of MeeGo software. Developers are porting soft from otehr systems to MeeGo. And still besides of nokia there is Opensource community which serves N9 so ther is Community Edition MeeGo 1.3 Nemo (codename Nemo). And those guys are much more reliable then Nokia itself even. And finnaly Nokia N9 is outstanding durable phone, seems for me it will serve up to 5-7 years, untill I will want to change it. Why? Because this made of bulletproof material and display is made of Gorilla Glass - unscratchable and unbreakubel (until one will work hard to dmage it, keys & coins in my pocket can't do anything to dispaly, at last so far). This is highiest top of engeeniring in mobile phones, and established standard in both: user comfort and technical possibilies on which you can rely. From my experience: N9 is best of all phones of all brands from 10 years. And as developers develops it's system and applications software then possibilities of N9 are increasing and growing, still and still. My recmendation is buy and try, you will love it. Read before in Wikipedia Nokia N9 article - there is many things you can find interesting about N9 and N9's almost endless possibilities. I've tried and I am happy of it. N9 is reall very good deal.
