Meego os is totally programmed in c++ language where android is written by xml, c , java and c++ language. So Meego is more linux based. But android is not so much. Besides Meego's karnel is linux based and monolithic . But android 's karnel type is not monolithic. For that reason to run a programme Meego convert software data to the hardware as a pure linux based. But android's data convertin system to the hardware are not fully linux based. Android also use java coding. So that Meego os has more potentiality than android os:) lol

For those wh... morespeaking of meego apps on android. i have no idea. android apps on meego. it is possible with alien dalvik. meego is not everything. but Qt is. Qt is a tool to code once and deploy to different platforms. like windows, linux distros, symbian, meego, maemo, webos, mac and so on. now even there is ability to deploy to android and iphone. search in youtube. Qt is cool. simulator? oh God, that's just great. but android sdk tool has the worst simulator ever. i used both of them. so i know it. just see the developed apps so far in N950. http://www.meegoexperts.com/ ...note: we don't know the exact number. devs can make an app in just one, two or 4 days. and with qt it is even faster.

Its sleek design and specifications make me want to buy it from the 1st look. N9 will beat other MBs in the market. However, for me personally, it would be great great if N9 with Meego will fit into the Nokia U8 concept design. I will definitely buy it anyway right after it's released. By the way, is the case of N9 aluminium uni body designed and any one knows when I can get it in Vietnam.

[deleted post]Comparing MeeGo to Android? Are you all freak? For those who say's that Linux will support the MeeGo OS for its Apps it's true! But did know that Linux will also support Android? Know why? MeeGo and Android are running in the same kernel, like Linux and Ubuntu OS (The one which run PC aside from the Microsoft). Maybe there are different in some things. But they all run in the same Kernel(The base framework of its system). The software made for MeeGo could also be edited a bit compiled to run on Android. Don't ever say that linux will jut support MeeGo. When you compare the development of Apps make sure its a bit far different and not related to each other, just like comparing iOS to Android to SymbianOS to WP7. Just a fact! :)
