the n9 doesnt look like it has a micro sd slot which will be a shame it does have the rather clunky usb on the go slot and cable which is pretty crap it should just have usb slot full stop!!! Apart from that this looks amazing and cant wait to get my hands on it

N9 will not cost Rs. 25k in India since N8 has been launched and it costs appx. Rs.26k !!!!

Also include dual sim 2 d n9.

... moreYea, but keep in you mind that, if Nokia N9 will be release by 2011 with these specifications, we might see new phone till that year with super specifications which could put the N9 aside. ( just like Galaxy Si9000 ). how thought they will come up with such a mobile in 2010. So imagine what samsung will come-up with by 2011.
Nokia Should this about this carefully & wisely in order to maintain their perfect specifications.

Nokia pls improve and the ram and rom. By d time you hv released this phone the specifications will be outdated and old, the samsung galaxy has a extrmely good rom which is 2gb,ram of 512mb and the galaxy has been released in june.
Most importantly pls change the screen, dont use tft, the Samsung S8530 Wave II is using a Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen, pls try and create somethin better.
Also improve the camera to about 12mp and CPU speed 1ghz is not enough. Pls try not to concentrate on the price and start concentrating on the quality and development.
Release dis phone as soon as possible with d upgrades. So far samsung is way ahead in technology so try 2 make d n9 better dan d samsung.

N8 is superb, but os problem. in this time the nokia os is courepted by anti eliments..
i hope the nokia n9 will good and rectfies os problem in that

i like n9 becuase
1- it have full keyborad and multi tuch screen
2- it have meego
i want to suggest nokia, Nokia N9
need big screen 4.5 inch and high resolution 1078x786pixle display some thing like that and
wimax enable , longer battry life

this Is Real Nokia phone. Am waiting for this. N8 is good at camera but hardware is not at all good. 1Gig processor and superb ram !!! i wish if this phone comes with dual boot support for sybmbian than this will be the ultimate phone.
FOR NOKIA : Plz improve a camera atlest to 8mp as it will be standred when this phone will come in market.

i have my n900. i look forward nokia N9 must have wimax . and if have 4.5 to 5.0 inch display with 1200x800 pixl with better battrey life . then no other phone can beat this because it have query kebord

It must be fake. Meego is not for capacitive multi touch, and Nokia will never use Qualcomm CPU. I hope the next _real_ Nokia with Meego will have around the specifications with an 1GHz Intel CPU, that I'd belive as a rumor too, and anyway the pics: this design is a joke, Nokia is better than this on high-end phone designs

I would not trade in my n900 for this. The camera should be better and appears no secondary for video skype. I can OC the processor on my n900 but hope this comes with a min. of a 1gb processor and handles multitasking better. They need to come out with some features that will set this apart from others and have a hell of a price point. I see myself keeping my n900 and using the community for my programs.

You guys have to think realistic here.
If the N9 has 12mp camera, you know how much the phone will cost?
I bet the OS itself is expensive as well as the hardware. It'll make the phone thicker too.
There's never a phone will ALL high-end features that's packed in a small device.
As for the size of the N9, battery life may be short due to the design and processing speed.
5MP Camera is good as long it can get 720p vid recording with good quality.
The 4inch screen resolution of 460x800 is actually pretty good.
One thing that I don't really like about the N9 design is "tilt-slide". It just doesn't look reliable.
Instead of TFT Screen, they should use Amoled with gorilla glass.
HDMI output may be useful for other people, but to most people in general, it's not even going to be of any use.

I think nokia should try Android.. Nokia has good hardware, they just need a good OS to boost the experience..

Xtc, 13 Oct 2010Some specs might be change,since this phone is still rumor.... moreI'm wondering how Nokia is planning to position the N9. With a new OS, I wonder how complete it is going to be. The new WP7 from MS appears to be somewhat incomplete and all indications that it will be improved in future versions. It makes me wonder how complete Meego will be when it debuts with the N9. I think that something will have to be sacrificed either with the N9 hardware or the Meego OS in order for the N9 to come out in a timely manner. Nokia may have to release something with fewer features, but have it working well in a timely manner. It's better than releasing something that is buggy or much later.
