Jay what are u on about, i know n95 had carl zies. thats what i meant but i said it in reverse, i was meant to stay Every N series device has had carl ziess which means for this not to have it means it cannot be and N series device. Also people that saw earlier leaks saw N00 in the software of the E7, that shows N00 cause they are using the same prototype Symbian 3 OS from the N8 into the E7, which eventually will become E00 or E7-00 when the product is final. As for other meego news there has been numerous info stating the N9 will have a flat slider not curved like this one. (a flat slider similar to the N9 leak on that youtube vid a month or 2 back)

Want an example?
Take Nokia N900. It has a clear Carl Zeiss Lens. And this isnt E7 or something, this is N9.

no n series device has never had carl ziess, so this is E7. Which explains why it has symbian 3 on it.
Nokia is trying to push out N8 and E7 by sept - oct, so they can then unviel the N9 which is a combination of the best in both phones, N8 has the camera and E7 has the big screen and qwerty.
N9 will have 4inch cap,good ram and rom, faster or similar cpu/gpu and 12MP dual led cam cause Xeon is too big to fit on qwerty device since its ment to be thin too like 12mm max. N9 will also ofcourse be first to have meego. N9 will rule, will have the best of everything I cant wait, rumoured to be announced at nokia world along side E7 and X7

The C0 marking doesn't mean it can't be N9. That same C0 marking was on N8 protos. Here's picture of N8 proto with the C0 marking:

It is confirmed now from some trusted sources that this device is N8 variant and would be called N8-01. It will have Symbian ^3 and sliding QWERTY.
N9 will be entirely different model running MeeGo OS. It will be released in early 2011.

I don't think this is a E-series device. If it was, there would HAVE to be Stainless steel somewhere! Also, since E-series is there business range, why would it have almost all the multimedia features of an N8? This must be/should be called the N8 pro. E-series shouldn't run Symbian anymore. Yeah I hope that this is just a marketing stradegy. And Nokia is not dumb enough to have a 4inch screen with only nHD resolution. And it is not super AMOLED!

Unless this is Nokia's new design, I believe that it's not a N9 but rather a marketing strategy to see what the consumers want. Do they want the keyboard? Do they want a 4 inch screen? Can they settle for less megapixels? Wouldn't it be great if Nokia decided to bring out the N8 with the sliding keyboard, the 4 inch screen, the 12 meg camera, the center main button all rolled up into one phone. Imagine... I'd go buy all the colors!

The Nokia N9 wont run Symbian ^3 OS. Nokia N8 will be the last high end phone with Symbian.
The Nokia N9 will run MeeGo.

Why make a E (business) class phone that looks just like the N8? I personally thinks it a N8 version like N8-01 but release info says that a E7 is coming next. But maybe this won't be release for a while if ever.
