To the person who said that stop finding stuff to cmplain about infrared, Didn't you ever think that could be important to someone else but you? Infrared is really good and it seems that you use Infrared more than bluetooth ('cept for headsets), but anyways, Just because you may or may not use infrared, just ... whatever.

Maybe you haven't really tried the UPnP, it's great when viewing pictures, WIRELESSLY.
And it's using the infrared connection.

I have tried latest phones from nokia, and i traded my nokia n91 to my sisters n90...hows that? hahaha!
i love my n90, i cannot afford to lose this phone...the features are great! especially the imaging, thanx to carl zeiss optics...
i havnt experience any problem with this phone, iv tried almost every phones made by nokia and for now the n90 is still the best (until n92-n93 is out in the market)
who cares about the weight and the bulkiness, what matters most is the feature and performance.
Go ahead people grab the n90!

Don't you know that with UPnP and infrared, you can use your phone as a remote control for computers and tv?

Hi all, i have purchased a Nokia N90 and im very impressed, yes it was slightly bigger than what i expected however its performance is better than any of my other handsets that i have ranging from p910i to mda-pro (o2-exec).
The Nokia Suite software is so easy to use and to use and there are no complicated "bits and bobs" to install, it simply does it for you.
Its lack of vibration and infra red is abit dissapointing but who the hell wants to use IR anyway, its like the floppy discs of a CD-rom! so out dated.
What i was impressed by is its auto focus, clip arts and movie editing software on the actual handset, along with quick and easy uploading of songs.
to top it all off it even has its own virus scanner for those nasty viruses some people find funny to send around and its fire wall is always active to which you can change from low-med-high.
its clever voice recognition system allows use for programmes as well as contacts and even better, you dont have to pre record them, like microsoft sam, the voice recognition programme recognises anything you say eg. a contact is named Adam, you press and hold down the VRS button and say Adam and it will do it, like any other you may think, well think again, its that clever it learns how you pronounce words to ensure its accurate everytime. other people can also use the system without having to pre record a voice tag.
Copying from and to the memory is also very quick, setting up hot keys on the handset is also easy to do, handset lock also on. Its an Amazing handset and id recomend to anyone.
i purchased mine from www.mobileshop.com and it was foc, super delivery time, e-mail me for a disscount code adamjackass@hotmail.com
well done NOKIA
