To Nick. You have to find out the right configuration in order to optimize(if there's any way)video playback on the phone. It usually is a trial and error. How is it going to appear is not important. I don't think there would be any big difference when it comes to video quality on one type of program for a certain type of phone. The most important thing is if the file would work.

Sorry Funny,
Actualy i just had had a quick look. Thats why. So "Display - up to 65,536 colors (176 x 208 pixels)" means external display, right?

Hello all, I was curious as to whether anyone knows of any good websites to visit in order to download any (hopefully, free) themes or applications that are optimized for the Series 60 3rd Version? I have only heard of symbianthemes.com but after checking out the site I was rather unimpressed... Most (if not all) of the themes came up blocky and pixelated on my N90. Anyone know any better?

Great, thanks for the input but should I change the frame rate, video size, or bit rate in order to acheive optimal performance?

Hi Nick.
Better leave the file on MPEG4/AAC to have the quality intact. Haven't you noticed when you convert a file(audio or video)to 3GP, quality becomes poorer? Though 3GP has smaller size I would prefer the better quality MPEG4. IMTOO is no different from Nokia MMC.

Just got the phone a week ago and was wondering if anyone knows what the best way is to optimize media content in the 3GPP format or if it should be left in the MPEG-4 format. I had been using an IMTOO 3GP Converter to get media onto my old Samsung P735. Any ideas?

Prince Mathews,
Have you got a problem with your eyes? It says "2.1 inch active matrix 262,144 colors (352 x 416 pixels)" on the NokiaUSA site!

Hey guys, hust now i checked this phone's specifications in Nokia USA. Its all different there. I mean, color - 65,536; Pixels - 176 * 208; availability - coming soon ... and things like that. Could anyone confirm who is correct? The Official Nokia Website or GSMArena?

As far as I can gather from the nokia website this fone can handle mem cards up to 1gb but they MUST be DUAL voltage and the voltage MUST be 1.8/3.0 V, any other dual voltage card won't work

come on guys, use common sense here, what do you think would happen to all those delicate parts in the camera if the fone was equipped with vibration alert?!?!?!

Plus...
When I think of the future, I like a smartphone, with the highest resolution for videocommunication and a nice handling. Also, cameraquality is not notible on the mobile itself..
So can I say it's a better smartphone? Its too expansive right now, its just not good enough to buy yet. Thats why I feel forced to get the sharp 903.. I will feel its then a bammer tho', the screen quality is not good enough on the 903..

I just love the design of this phone.. and so I went to a phoneshop to see if they had info for me...
And ofcourse they tried to change my opinion.. (why this phone, its to big, no connection with umts (holland), plus we got one here just for you! the sharp 903(only vodafone here) with a more accurate lens (3.2mp).
And ofcourse there is some true in it. (not the size or the connection with umts tho', I like bigger screens!)
But that it isn't compared on the net yet... Altho its lens is better, I don't know about the quality of the use of software and buttonuse and all, above that I don't know whats more durable..
I don't know dudes... In two days I goin to by one of the two but I'm leaning to get the sharp (bigger screen, etc.), altho' my instict says get the other one(n90, much better design! and higher resolution)
please help me with makin sure I should get n90 (and spend probably a hundred bucks more)...

Hey people out there who interested with Nokia N90, i would like to say something about my new N90 that brought on last saturday. when the 1st time i hold it onto my hand, yes the dimention is a bit longer and bulky, but it is still "ok" for me. but for sure is its much more heavy than my Nokia 6630! well i gonna take some time to get use to it... N90 giving a very good display, with the improved screen resolution! and N90 shoot stunning quality images, it is very professional beacuse u can feel like u are using a DC or DV when u look into the N90 image and video setting. the video resolution is improve, i satisfy with it. about the sound quality, hm... what i feel is the speaker is much more louder than my 6630, but i think the 6630's sound is more clarity than N90, thats what i feel. and pls dun ever compare SE W800i to N90 ok, YES w800 is great in sounds and images, no doubt. but is it 3G mobile? is it a symbian mobile? great video resolution like N90? this 2 phone are totally different. anyway, if u wan me to tell you the disadvantages of N90, i can only say that it is heavy and no vibration. last, thanks for viewing my opinion, have a nice day!
