monster, 19 Mar 2011had 1 for a year n a bit, great phone but batt is shocking.... moreNOKIA N900 is a Hi Tech PDA device, not really a phone. Check the RAM, maybe; there may be some applications with heavy MB's or better still, zap the phone.

I got one recently and I use it almost every day. It's great because it holds 4 charges and is not phone-dependent; you can use it on your current phone or the phone you have 3 years from now

Hey guys,
Finally there are some good news for the game loving people. An application "wgames" is just made available by our maemo community which is the automatic installation application for the WebOs games...At present, 25 games are supported by this application & are listed in the menu when the application is opened.
The main advantage of this application is, there is no X-terminal coding required.. All u need to provide is the ipk file for the respective game & it automatically installs the game for you.
The "wgames" application is available in extras-devel repository & can be downloaded from Application manager. The ipk file for the games can be downloaded from following location:

I think, this certainly is a gr8 news for the guys like Gamer & Neil...:)

I am using this phone since aug 2010..... A little disappointed with NO VIDEO CALL SUPPORT WITH 3G. The phone hangs a lot. Not able to install many applications........

N900 is not for you if you want a phone just for calls and SMS. You cannot make a call in 2 clicks... This is for the tech savvy who need an "Always ON, Always ALONG" Computer.
This phone can either be MAGICAL or TRAGICAL for you. Depends on your skill and usages. There is no intermediate status for this phone.
For me.. this is a dream machine.
99.999 % Votes in Favour. The only minus is battery consumption which could have been a bit better.

My nokia n900 is excellent in its speed and accuracy. I can`t see any other mobile which I can compared with nokia n900.butnokia n900 is handling very difficult thanks to nokia n900

yes u are right,can kill the time when find free wifi on the airport, but where airport have real free wifi now?sub not really availanbe,cgk i guess dont have,changi not really free wifi (must have sing phone operator acount),lcct ( haha dont have ). do u think that PR 1.4 would be available around april ?
