it is good. i am using it for 1 year. almost no bugs, fast performance, comfortable and intuitive working system. And strong :) (like most nokias)

The N900 is a great phone, ive been using it now for like a month, but i was surprised that WhatsApp and Skype are not supported by this device, i cant find windows live messenger either.. when is that gonna happen? i cant have a phone without these 3 applications in it, i think im gonna switch to the Iphone 4 though ive been usin nokia all my life..Thank u for ur advice

The N900 It´s my phone and i wont change it 4 any other on the market, but the N900 it´s not for everyone, it´s a geeks phone (and the maemo/meego doesn't seem to have a future, just installed android 2.3 and it looks promising) the battery is also awful, yesterday i played a lot with the phone and have to charge it 3 times.
On the N97 series you will find Symbian OS witch will be more "normal user" friendly.

Is signed by design failures, most of them small usability issues, but there is so much small usability stuff that makes it worst than some few big ones.
If you intend to use it as a small, very small computer, is the ideal device, but as a phone is terrible, and as mp3 player or radio tuner, is a huge battery eater. Also, if you add only 1 widget (cpu/mem monitor or anything alike) it will reduce battery life DRASTICALLY!... From 10%/day, to 50%/day battery consumption (without phone or anything else usage).

last year some user say that PR 1.4 will coming around april 2011. Is it true ??? still use PR 1.2 now. so if PR.4 will coming around april so i dont need to upgrade to PR 1.3 because so far i am OK with this PR 1.2. Thanks

conflicting always there is reason in the problem coloum.
and its very clear reason,different than android,symbian,windows phone they dont say why conflicting.
This N900 maemo 5 is great.
there is 1 only phone using this OS,but there is lot of software available even mostly for free.
android,symbian,windows,bada OS they also have more software but because they already installed in a lot of phone type and phone brands.
I still say N900 is Great Mini computer with full phone functionality powered by Linux maemo.
