I had posted about gingerbread earlier. I m reposting it again.. Hope it will help U decide..:)
when u follow the steps in the link i posted earlier, it offers you two options for the OS when U restart ur tablet - Maemo & Nitdroid - Something similar we have on PC having dual OS (For Example, Windows 7 & Windows XP).
So, if you want to enjoy ur Maemo, just reboot ur device & select Maemo OS instead of Nitdroid & U r back to normal.
So, in my personal opinion, this Gingerbread installation is worth a try..
Off course, the final decision lies on the owner what he/she wants from his/her device..

Well,i have alredy tried downloading Blue ftp and used it with emulater and icead6. it installed well and when i tried to run it, it end up giving some errors. Hardik it's my request that u kindly check this application on ur tablet. i m sure u would like it. Plz do this as a favour to me..

Doument to go is no longer in the ovi app store.
I purchase the full version but when i download the softwere in the app store it sorry this item no longer available.

can anyone here answer my previous post?? does the n900 still stable after installed the android 2.3 ?? will it bring any problem so far?? as i know..it even faster than maemo 5 ..is it true ??

tunes wiki player, i got it from ovi, they 2 version . small simple and big and full page version. i use Pr 1.2 . it works greats.

I think same application from www.getjar.com should be installed on our tablet too with the help of Java emulator.
I hope U have installed icedtea6 & Microemulator. As U know, these are the platforms required to run Java applications on our tablet.
So I suggest U to install those two application (if not already) & try to run blueftp.jar on Micro emulator. It should work then..

anyone here face any problems after installed android 2.3 on N900 ? will it will harm our n900 if i plan to install it ?and is it possible for us to install all the applications like Android do on HTC phone ?

I recently installed TuneWiki player from the repositories. This player detects the information of the song on the internet and then displays the lyrics and also downloads the album cover while playing. I am not sure if that answers your question but even if not it will be a great media player on our lovely tablet N900. Enjoy. Peace. :)

Guys plz help me searching the application " BLUE FTP ".. Earlier i was using this application on nokia 5310 which was a jar phone. My friend has E71 and he is also using this application. With the help of this application we can copy data from any bluetooth enabled mobile phone without informing the phone user. All we had to do was just to pair our phone with the other mobile. We can access the directory of other phone on our tablet if we got this application made for our tablet. We can copy data without the permission of the other user. I downloaded application " emulater (application to run jar files on our tablet) " and tried to run jar file of blue ftp through that but it ended up giving some errors and i could not use it. If anyone want to have a look on the application i am talking about, can check it on "www.getjar.com" . selecting the phone model as nokia 5310 and search " Blue FTP " there. Guys if we have this application our tablet will become Excellent. Plz guys post this application request on our community as well.
