Danveer, 22 Nov 2010ya, even i thought of nokia n8, i took all the benefits of ... morei can add to the N8 vs HDMI, ppl who tried it are not impressed, the image quality is not good. Also the regular TV out used on nokia is bad, i never forget how embarassed i was when i connected my N96 to the TV, i really had to make excuses in front of the ppl present, i was blaming the cable and watever, but thats how bad TV out always been on nokia.

1) capacitive touchscreen
2) 12 megapixel camera
3) HDMI output
4) better nokia support and apps
ans to these benefits
1) i would give more importance to a actual keyboard that just a multi touch
2) i dont need a 12 magapixel camera, 5 is more than enough and also i dont want a 12 megapixel camera if the os is in itself so laggy...
3)i dont even have a wide screen tv so why the hack would i need a HDMI output..
also i will buy a new laptop next year and even they have a hdmi output these days so i think its more sensible to connect laptop to tv against phone as it will disturb all your incoming messages and calls and avoid you to attend them...
4)the qt apps will soon be in ovi store which would be for both nokia n8 and nokia n900 so apps problem will be solved soon, also i dont want any nokia support when there is maemo community and you guys to help me out...:)
now also tink of the openness that n900 provides, install nitdroid, meego, and even windows, mac and linux,...:)
thats all i have to say why i preferred nokia n8
in last ill say just one thing, n8 is a camera phone while n900 is a mobile computer

just a question about the email widget; i can't edit the settings of the widget when i'm in "edit" mode on the homescreen. clicking on the settings icon in the bottom left corner of the widget does nothing. is it just me? i wish the widget showed all emails instead of just unread/new emails..
