        I've owned an N900 for about 4 months now and it's always been laggy, i can see lots of comments from people having a great experience with the N900, can you tell me how you achive non-lagginess? :P

          Dear all

          I installed NFS and it was working fine. Yesterday I ran this game and everything is fine but when the race starts, the car was staying at one place while its movement was visible on the map. The screen then changes once I am busted. I restarted and tried again but no luck. SO I thought of re-installing it. I uninstalled it and when I am trying to install again from Application Manager, it is throwing the problem as -
          Application packages missing python2.5-qt4-core (=4.7.4-maemo0)

          Any ideas how to resolve it? If so, please explain all the steps.

              hi to all,this is gopi,some body offered me this phone for 350$ in second hand,and still its having 6months guaranty,so iwant to know is it worth to buy at this rate,if ibuy that phone where ican get all programs for it because for this no java is supportable, so pls clarify my doubts my email is gopichand86@yahoo.com.and iwant know can i get this n900 which was made in finland???.ok bye.

                Anonymous, 16 Nov 2010pls somebody tell me does this phone run all banking sites ... morei am not too pleased with the battery life of the phone.. if i use 3g internet on a full charge, it won't last more than 5-6hrs with continuous use. i often want to use internet during lectures... i've had to buy another (cheap) battery from ebay. no problems now!

                        i even checked it on youtube and there were some videos demonstrating it over 3g network which is not possible on nokia n900...
                        so in terms of that sgs wins....

                              The likes & dislikes abt the features vary from person to person.. For example, for some people, the weight of N900 (187 Grams) is a concern but for me, its not..

                              I can share my likes & dislikes abt the phone with You;

                              Likes :
                              (1) Screen resolution,

                              (2) Multi tasking

                              (3) Video chating. video calling is yet to be launched in India over 3G by My service provider

                              (4) Audio/ Video quality.. Watched Incepation on the device.. the quality is freakingly awesome

                              (5) Image Quality in Non Zoom mode

                              (6) Screen size

                              (7) Innovative applications. e.g I can configure my Set top box remote on the device & can use the device as remote through available infrared port. The applicaion for configuration needs to be downloaded.

                              (8) Most important, Web browsing speed. Its the novice experience I have with my little master piece

                              Off course, everything can't be perfect & it applies to N900 also.. :)

                              Dislikes :
                              (1) Touch sensitivity. this is expected since the the screen is resistive & not capacitive.

                              (2) Limited Built in applications. U have to download even basic applications like FM radio, MMS etc..

                              (3) Image quality with zoom.. This is also expected since its having digital zoom & not the optical one.. This limitation exists in all the smart phones having more than 5MP camera. For Photography, smart phones can not become an option of the SLR DigiCams.

                              But overall, I love it so much as negative aspects are not blocking for me..

                              This is my personal experience.. As I wrote earlier, it may vary from person to person..

                                    [deleted post]Maeomo is debian linux based, and android is derived from ubuntu linux which in turn derived from debian. So it will not be a difficult thing if you know linux. Both are equal.

                                        Any Android based phone is not having video calling / chating capability despite hardware is capabale (e.g Samsung I9000 Galaxy S). The feature is not available in the latest relase if the OS Froyo as well.

                                        Milestone is not having front camera. So in that case, despite the OS blocking point, the hardware is also limited..

                                        Another point is, The internal memory of milestone is limited to 133MB with 32GB card slot available. The N900 is having 32GB internal memory with 16GB MicroSD Card slot.

                                        So, if u r not very much interested in Video calling/ chating & memory is not critical feature, both the phones (Milestone, N900) are equal..
