Rajesh Dwivedi, 11 Oct 2010Hi Every1, I stay in India and i m not able to install SKY... morethe n900 does come with skype out of the box, you don't need to install it. i am not sure if india has placed restrictions on this (i've never heard of that before). if you go into 'availability' by pressing on the status bar with the time, battery etc, you can see that you can add several accounts there. skype is one of them. once you've added your skype account, it will upload all your contacts to your phone and you'll be able to use skype. note that it's not an app - it's embedded into the phone. good luck.

got my upgrade in march and have had nothing but trouble with it. it has been changed for a new n900 4 times and been in for repair about 6 times. freat mobile if it worked but it dosnt

Its a nokia's full package mobile and complitable with all hardware and softwares. Great mobile.

I am sure it's not the N900's fault coz I can't connect other AV devices as well. Maybe some setting to be done in the TV?...

Hi Every1,
I stay in India and i m not able to install SKYPE on my n900. In india as per govt. rules nokia has not given skype in indian version.. guys plz help me with ths.. i dont want to flash my phone with any other version.. plz help me and tell from where i can get setup to install skype on n900. on skype website when i search skype for my phone then is states as "PREINSTALLED".. plz help me guys..

Can't help you because I don't use fring, nor nimbuzz. I'm satisfied with Skype.

Tiyo sby, 10 Oct 2010try to unplug ur cable from ur phone then plug again untill... moreok guys, thanx for the advice, the problem seems to be at my tv. I plugged it into my parents plasma, and it works perfectly. My LG tv just give me a blue screen (reminds me of windows) but I do notice the RC plugs go in a bit too easy, must be bad connection. I did wiggle it around, but nothimg happened. Maybe it's time for that nice big LCD hanging in the electronics store ... haha the misses will strangle me!

zybby, 08 Oct 2010my maemo version is 10.2010.19-1, is this the latest versio... morehi bro , are u disapointed with this firmware version ? is that good or still not good.
mine has : 10.2010.12-9 . this is good also, but now after i put 2 high quality video still can play video smooth and very good player, then after put 10 high quality video then when i play all of video in my phone works bad, not smoth anymore but the sound still work smoth only the pictures or video become stop and play like a hangs video but the sound still play smoth. dont know why ????

Can anyone help me with the TV out, can't ge... moretry to unplug ur cable from ur phone then plug again untill a small icon appear beside batrey indicator. or if still did not fix try to restart or phone. dont forget to plug ur cable to the right AV IN in ur TV then set ur TV as u use ur TV as vedio player.
it should be ur TV can show everything like what u see on ur phone screen,like video calling,sms,games,sms,everything even internet or watching hot video.hehe..

But I'll advise that you wait for the very_soon_coming_next_update. I'm realliably informed that it will feature in the next update.
