Hi Guys,i bought this mobile nokia n900 today and i am facing a problem,
can anyone please tell me how to set a perticular ringtone and a perticular photo for a selected contact on this mobile nokia n900

hi, can someone please tell me what apps work in portrait mode? i know that the call feature does, as does sms (but no portrait qwerty) and the web browser. does anything else work in portrait mode? thanks in advance.

you need to update the software on your phone to PR 1.2.
I live in Thailand and even here we use ^120# to check balance and I would get the same error as you. However, after I updated the firmware software to PR 1.2 the problem is resolved. Also, you better register yourself to maemo.org forum where all geeks that support N900 and Maemo OS discuss all apps on n900. You will learn a lot by joining the forum trust me. I am registered there as vicegerent. Good luck

Its a forum where everybody is helpful with a lot of programmers & developers.
I can almost guarantee you'll get a solution within a day. (but i wont lol!)
But it sounds to me like a flash of the OS will sort you out!

in the fmms, go settings and put your provider setting and u r done...:)
