Fil, 15 Jul 2010If u want a phone to be as close as laptop then i don't see... moreDo you think meego will be better than meego? I am really interested in the n900 and I know it won't be available for much longer, but there are lots of surprises coming in the next few months, meego, symbian 3 and win7, so u think maemo is the logical choice? Btw I use the x10, like mentioned on my name, and I personally don't like android.

received my 2400mah Battery from Mugen & it is AMAZING.
Although it makes it little bulky, but i am very happy with it & don't think this will affect me. ;)

MAEMO.ORG works. It depends on your internet connetion and the status of the global connection. Cant explain it but it works. It didnt worked for me before but after I get used to it, it finally work

mike n97 x10 user, 15 Jul 2010Hi, I am not fimilar with linux or maemo, always been a nok... moreIf u want a phone to be as close as laptop then i don't see any present smartphone coming near to the mark except N900 (half tablet half phone) and that too upto certain extent like in the case of mozilla web browsing.
But Nokia has cleared that there would be no further maemo OS phones as Nokia are eyeing meego in the future. That sounds like one night stand affair for poor users who will feel outdated once meego arrive (with maybe N920).
If you see N900 from the eyes of potential internet tablet user, perhaps this is your baby. Or else go for android (open source) or wait for symbian^3.

Yday i was bought dis n-900.. I want to know... the confrence facility is avaiable in this phone or not ?? if yes then please let me know how can i do this ? and during the call if we dial someother no# than how we call it in that no#.. as if there no options showing for calling ..

now i m fedup of ths q :-( can anybody tell me why maemo.org not work???? i m frm mum n i have taken loop wap service. almost i can surf all site but when i access mamemo site frm web or app manager it say server not found. even i tried surfing frm firefox but still problem is same. is ths happen with me only or u guys also hve problem??

well i hve ths phone frm last 2week n i did not seen any keypad pannel scratches on my n900 .i dont know why its happening with u. i think u should go to nokai care n ask them.

you can install the new meego version 1.0 released for aava and nokia n900.
that will work in both portrait and landscape mode. but i dont know about that os much.
but it has been made by collaboration of nokia and intel so it has to be good.
