Hi evry1,
I am absolutely loving my n900...
But i did notice a few problems.
1) The stylus if used extensively can produce significant scratches on the screen.
2) The WLAN/WiFi is not powerful enough
3) The touch fails to work precisely in the corners
4) Lack of apps
5) Cannot group the contacts. as a matter of fact, there is absolutely no freedom when it comes to the "phone" part of n900. for eg, we cannot assign different ringtones to different ppl.
6) Deleting a contact from the phone can delete the contact from the user's gmail contact list.
7) The mobile is bulky compared to other phones of its generation.(we can live wid tat)
if anyone has the answrs to these questions, i ll be really happy to be informed.

alex, 01 Jul 2010can any one pls tell me if the n900 has a problem with its ... moreMy buddy has N900 and I know that it has problem with "Flash SMS"... messages that are not stored in the phone.
With standard SMS, the phone is OK.

good thing in n900
1.big display
2.good sound quality in earphone
3.phone performance is awersome doing mutitasking in easy n smooth
n thing i hate in n900
1.maemo site doesnt work n on ovi i can find only game no software dis really sux
2.no radio
3.we cant use phone in portrait mode
4.consume battery very much

Its your own money u r wasting on a teen handset wit low res display. But i gues u cant afford even an N8 anyway, u just like 2 talk abt it, and u never used "computer stuff" on a celfone did u? =)

Why no MMS????? On such a high end handset why would you not have a basic service like MMS available, madness!!!!Bad Nokia....

You are not talking about video chatting through skype,gtalk...are you?????
Because i'm talking about "normal video call option" without any of these(skype,gtalk...etc)
In the phone menu where do you see the "video call" option???
