I m using it since 4 months, i bought it from Dubai. All features r verY MUCH nice but you cant take it to a 3 to 4 day journey without a spare battery. As its battery performance is very bad and not up to the mark compare to its features.

org indo kah?can u sugest me.now i still using E61i since aug'07, but now i am getting tired of my E61i getting slower and the keypad lamps died.there is better and bigger screen E series than this and E90. so..what if i change to N900?is it work great with no hang if i dont use a lot of app or memory?how about batery?firmware version u use?or maybe i change to Milestone ? because the price is almost same.N900 5,8jt & Mile 5,9 jt. can u use the second camera in N900 ( i mean just capturing not video calling)?u may send me a long mesage or describe it to my email : yoyokcoaster@gmail.com

Ever since I've updated My n900 to pr1.2, I keep getting the message "Ovi Store is currently not available for your device." when I try to access the ovi store.
I've been trying this for weeks..thinking it may be temporary..bt ntn changed..I still get the same message :s
Any help will be greatly appreciated :)
P.S: I updated My n900 to pr1.2 via OTA.

[deleted post]is it ok? because i tried and found it not as pwerful as described. i used the n900 app named 'healthcheck', and it shows only 1130mAh, not 1930mAh. it runs out just as fast as my normal BL-5J battery.
when i asked the seller, he said that he doesnt know because its the problem from the manufacturer, who says that they manufacture it as 1930mAh, and he just sells it from the manufacturer.
im gonna return it back to the seller.

My N900 just locked up. Turned it off and on and now, if it boots, displays "No Image" Anyone know of this problem and how to fix?

I hope the meego phone from nokia looks physically like the
htc hd 2 design
slim body and with larger screen display,
if possible, no button at all in the front view:)

satio is better at the camera and the battery life only i think

main disadvantage: low battery capacity for too highspecs
i dont use it for skype. because it eats up the battery damn quickly.
i therefore switch on the 3g whenever i want to use the internet, dim the brightness to 2 bars only, and buy 1 spare battery and its charger.
advantage:can go online both yahoo messenger and skype (sometimes cannot)at the same time. i guess the same goes to other chatting medium. blackberry cant do this

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2009haha iphone copycat! thanks for the sliding keyboard it con... moreI used to work for a Mobile distribution company and I brought the N900 from the 1st container that was shipped to UAE i have been using this phone since 7 months, and trust me its nothing like the Iphone, Iphone with its user friendly features targets only on non techie people. But the N900 even allows the user to create own programmers in case you are a Linux programmer and even the interface is sooo fantastic and since this operates on Memo 5 (Linux OS) you just cant compare it with anything in the market soo far, and as for the design of the phone, a phone is a phone it has to have a Mic and speaker what ever come in between are the additional techno the N900 is not the 1st phone that looks like the Iphone, it also has N800, and N850 which looks the same and these were not in the category of phones they where in the category of Internet Tablets, which did not support GSM. That is the exact reason why i brought this phone in the 1st place, as i don't wish to experiment with my investment in a technology that is very fresh in the market so when i heard of these models N800+ and i had confidence in this technology, and believe me the way everything is integrated in this phone, wow its like i just go to a mall, or office, or home and all my mails are sync automatically, weather forecasts are updated, facebook status are updated, i get all the lyrics of songs i am playing, this phone is like a crocodile (a crocodile is very powerful when in water), in this case the N900 is a crocodile and Wireless Internet is water, and you can actually browse any1s laptop if some1 has enabled file sharing, works real perfect, I see so find so many laptops with enabled file sharing in malls. VoIP works cool with skype (Audio & Video) and gtalk, however I admit to some main problems which would make this phone flawless if fixed,
Battery backup time really sucks it has been improvised after the latest update but still it's just unsatisfactory,
You cannot save favorite locations in the GPS maps (I was really addicted to this feature since I had a N95 8GB) I used to save all location to where i was not sure how to get 2 the next time.
No built in Yahoo IM :( .
