Has Nokia blocked re-installation of firmware 1.2. I had a corruption in my menu and tried to re-install via NSU, but I got a window that says "your service provider may not have approved your firmware update, register to be informed of new softwares. Meanwhile my phone is unlocked! I need some help.

Guys after a series of research and questions...i finally lay my hands on my (machine) N900..its gr8 having the device, i immediately updated my firmware to get rid of the ussd bug....it really worked 4 me..thanks to u guys

i had the iphone 3GS before it when i bought it, but it is much better, even though the iphone is better in some areas such as the capacitie screen and wide apps available. but the N900 is an amazing phone, plus it's half the price of the uphone and cheaper than the X10 but much better, never buy sony ericsson

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2010If u want to buy n900 u will want to do it for its browsing... moreit has my friend video calling, fm, call recorder, mms.
video calling feature is there in the update while other features can be activated through software..for me this the best device i ever used...i am using it for 3 months nd loving it...still getting to knw abt it's features since it has meamo. it cn be hacked

Hi guys! I own a Nokia N900 which I bought Last week after thinking hard whether to buy N900 or the Xperia X10... I should say, I am really impressed with the Nokia N900... It maybe bulky but it packs its guns well. I appreciate its fast internet connection though some improvement on the camera would be nice. I'm still digging deep on how to fully operate all the functions of the phone, if anyone here can suggest me anything about the phone so that I can enjoy it more, I'd really and deeply appreciate it.
Actually, I really value the reviews and comments on this site even before buying a phone... It took me 2 weeks on what to really buy that would fit my lifestyle and the reviews here where very helpful.
Advance thanks and hope to hear any suggestions or comments about the Nokia N900... :)
