This shows that Nokia need to follow other manufacturers and advertise their handsets better.
There has not and will not be a Nokia handset that is good enough for me to change from my iPhone if there is anyone it will be HTC, Nokia are losing their grip!

Now to answer your question around the email widget, yes it did not work for me initially, but then I managed to get it work. Its very simple actually. Just go to Email -> Settings, ensure the Update Automatically option is selected and set the Update interval according to your choice (I had set it to 5 minutes).
Then I sent a test mail to my email account and waited for 5 minutes, the test mail appeared on the email widget on the desktop. Voila... Hope this helps!

Okay I have been using this phone for a year, I am just wondering is there a way to use the # key in the dialing, I can't even check my current minutes used since N900 keeps pop up invalid key. How to I fix this?

is there anyone else like me who is having problems with there email since doing the update. Although all the settings are the same and email is set to update automatically every 30 mins. The phone shows its updated but no new emails are showing. But when i use my latop to access my hotmail account, it shows i have emails.
i've tried deleting and re setting my hotmail account but still the same problem.
any suggestions?
if however i manually update, only then do new emails appear!

All that you said is 100% correct, i even saw a change in the camera there is now night mode and in the video as well which were not available b4.
concerning the video call, if u have skype the other user should have the latest version of skype on his computer to work. and if from N900 to another N900 you should see the skype video call in his contact (you need to add his account) and Gtalk is the same as well.
I have a problem i dont know if you do as well? the E-Mail widget is not working. it doesnt show new emails. all it does it when i click on it it opens nokia messaging thats all. when i click to edit the desktop i tap on the e-mails widgets settings and nothing happens.
please help is this problem with all????

I m using N900 for last 6 months, and upto now i have found it is truly a internet tablet.I f you are using 3G or connected via WiFi then you can get the best out of it.Some key points:
-Best browser (comparing it with n97, xperia and htc hd2,and ofcourse iphone 3g)
Best device ever for social networking (facebook, tweeter,msn, yahoo.you will be always connected and get you Ims straight away.skype- send and receive call directly like a regular GSM call)
-The latest update can let you use videocall in skype or video chat in facebook and other IMs
-lots of apps are now available but not much games.
- for MMS instal the fmms.
Only problem is the battary. I use a wifi connection for internet and connected with it 24/7. Always logged on into FB, SKYPE, Pushmails and others and the battery last for 17/18 hours.
To update the software install pcsit, software updater, if it give errors, then uninstall them and install the software updater again, it will work for sure.
If it opens FB in mobile mode then uninstall the FB and then install the FB stats and photo uploader wigget again. I t will work. thats all for now, this is my first review.If you want to share any info then mail me at roni.dhk@gmail.com

for those with problems of not being able to use "conversation desktop widget" and "data widget" download "Extras-Testing" as a new catalogue in apps manager & save. (if you haven't already done it). It will automatically update and it will notify you of an update for the desktop widget and any other widgets. Then update those apps and all should be well. Just like my phone. for"Extras Testing" setting just google and manually write into new catalogue. hope that helps
