Of course the ones you mentioned being cheaper (but no doubt of good quality)are best sellers compared to N900. I don't collect, I use my "mobiles" to replace a laptop, so I look everytime for the best of the best and more suitable for me...and N900 is the best, but you have to learn how to use it and know its capabilities!

One friend of mine is complaining about this phone, he says there is no FM radio on hes new N900?
I guess he does not know how to use this phone!
I know there was not completed first FW support for FM-Radio, or maybe he is not telling truth..., maybe there the software he need for FM-radio he have to pay in order to get in hes device working FM-radio!
Is it true there is N900 models not included FM-Radio in it or not???

And Maemo can't helps it. Can't you see that? The price is also important thing if you are every day user, if you are not just collecting phones.

This is an awesome phone I love it but its not for everyone. An example I just had it for almost a week and it was fine but now it seems to be slowing down. I don't know much about it so I will have to learn just for anyone interested in it

Rotimi, 18 May 2010On this phone, No one can can recharge account or check bal... moream in ghana and i cant check balance or reload credit onto my phone. a lot of network applications in this country involve combining alphabets with numbers to check or subscribe to network features and this is not working on the n9OO. its so frustrating and how does de radio work? wen i insert de earpiece am prompted to remove it so i dnt know how to listen. pls help

Because NOBODY told me anything... Search the 'Net.
Im going to give you some tips only.
Install Debian image. Then from there package installer , install aircrack-ng, then visit Youtube to learn...
airmon-ng,airodump-ng etc etc etc... Learn to search my friend...

Paul, 20 May 2010N900, at the time being can't be compared to iphone or even... morei agree. i bought the n97 mini and the following week nokia suddenly released it here in our country and all i can say is d'oh! but here in our country, they dont even display the n900 in their nokia stores and you have to ask for it.

We can overclock it up to 1GHz,and at the same time monitoring the cpu temperatures in real time, but the most important we can control the cpu speed in what level we want. Example:
Im overclocking it at 1GHz but im using only the 700Mhz. When i want to i unleash the beast. N900...the power is nothing without control!!!

Nokia N900 is and it will be, the best ever, "mobile" device. N97,iPhones,N8,HTC,mpla mpla CAN'T compare to us,the owners of N900. Now you can cry as long as you want.

N900, at the time being can't be compared to iphone or even to N97, which is the one it resembles best...they are all completely different!
Even now, that lots of people claim it hasn't this and that, N900 is, for me, THE BEST I ever had and I've had N97, N95, E90, E71, E72, E52, HTC P3600, S720, TYTN, TYTN II, Diamond 2, Touch Pro, SE P1, P900, P990i just to name few of them...
If you like iphone/other just refrain yourselves in your coments and let people having or wishing to have the N900, discuss about this magnificent mobile computer...

[deleted post]i, for myself, i wouldn't choose any apple phone over the N900.
there's a lot of work with the N900 and requires a lot of patience to make it work the way u want, but it's worth it.
